Chad Dunkley is Chief Executive Officer for New Horizon Academy. He oversees operations, marketing, strategy, and finance, and drives the culture of continuous improvement at all New Horizon locations. Chad Dunkley is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kinderberry Hill Child Development Centers, a subsidiary of New Horizon Academy. Kinderberry Hill offers a comprehensive, unique and innovative approach to early care and education. Chad oversees operations for Kinderberry Hill Child Development Centers in Minnesota. Chad is President of the Minnesota Child Care Association (MCCA), Co-Chair of The Early Care and Education Consortium (ECEC), an executive board member of the Chad Greenway Lead the Way Foundation, and a board member of the Minnesota Business Partnership. Chad was elected to a four-year term on the governing board of The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 2012. Chad has served on many additional boards and advisory panels focused on increasing the quality and resources of early learning programs. Chad was named a Most Admired CEO by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (2017) and an Exceptional Emerging Leader by the Child Care Information Exchange (2015). In 2004, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal recognized Chad as one of the region’s most outstanding business leaders as one of their Forty Under 40 award recipients. In addition, Chad has published numerous articles for Child Care Exchange magazine and often testifies and meets with national and state officials to improve access to high-quality early education for young children. He received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and his B.A. in management from Hamline University.
