    Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support a large-scale civil construction / infrastructure project in North Louisiana. The Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely project execution and accurate reporting. This position may be based out of our Baton Rouge, New Orleans, or Lafayette offices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule in Primavera P6, reflecting all aspects of construction. Work with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to capture activity sequencing, durations, and resource loading. Incorporate critical path method (CPM) scheduling techniques to monitor project progress. Maintain baseline schedules and perform schedule updates to track project milestones, deliverables, and performance. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying variances and providing mitigation strategies. Prepare and present weekly and monthly schedule reports, look-aheads, and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders. Assist with forecasting completion dates, assessing impacts of changes, and performing time impact analyses as needed. Coordinate and support schedule input for change orders, delay claims, and progress payment applications. Participate in regular project meetings, contributing schedule status and insights. Ensure compliance with contractual scheduling requirements, reporting obligations, and best practices. Review scope of work, contract documents, and project controls requirements to gain a good understanding of each project and associated execution plans. Assist the project team in developing and maintaining Primavera P6 schedules, lookahead schedules, productivity reports, resource/manpower reports, etc. Analyze project schedules and produce schedule updates and reports in Primavera P6 Project on a weekly basis. Assist Project Management with Earned Value Management analysis as required. Assist Project Management with weekly and monthly client update reporting. As required attend weekly coordination meetings (both internal and external) to discuss current progress/productivity, resource requirements, and future work look-ahead plans. Develop and maintain various project controls processes which includes but is not limited to progress tracking and forecasting, cost control, and document management. Strong commitment to safety and environmental excellence Qualifications: 5 years of scheduling experience on civil construction or infrastructure projects. Proven expertise in Primavera P6 (Enterprise Project Portfolio Management). Strong understanding of civil construction processes, including wet utilities, earthwork, site grading, laydown yards, and general civil infrastructure. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, civil plans, and project specifications. Knowledge of earned value management (EVM), resource loading, and cost/schedule integration is preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and other scheduling/reporting tools. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred. Responsibilities: * Promote a positive safety culture through proactive observations, conversations, and coaching. * Utilize field engineering and layout technology to ensure accurate construction layout and alignment. * Set up and operate surveying equipment, including Trimble or similar total stations, GPS systems, and laser levels. * Read and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate layout. * Perform layout verification for concrete foundations, paving, structural components, and vertical concrete elements. * Identify potential conflicts in construction documents and provide proactive solutions to prevent errors. * Work closely with project teams to anticipate and coordinate layout needs, ensuring construction progress remains on schedule. * Maintain accurate records of survey data, layout points, and field adjustments. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and LEMOINE's quality control requirements. * Assist with training field personnel on surveying procedures and equipment use as needed. * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Field Engineer Manager or Project Superintendent. Qualifications: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management, Survey Engineering, or related field preferred. * Experience: Prior experience in commercial construction surveying or a related field. * Technical Skills: * Proficiency with surveying equipment such as Trimble, GPS systems, total stations, and laser levels. * Experience in AutoCAD and blueprint reading required. * Knowledge of layout techniques for foundations, paving, and vertical concrete structures preferred. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus. * Soft Skills: * Strong communication and leadership abilities. * Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and craft workers. * Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
