We are seeking an experienced Construction Technology Specialist to join this team and help uphold our mission of excellence, safety, and innovation. Position Summary The Construction Technology Specialist will work within LEMOINE's VDC/IT function to standardize, deploy, support and optimize emerging jobsite technologies. The specialist will focus on tools such as OpenSpace, CMBuilder, DroneDeploy, BI dashboards for work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, and other digital innovations (eg. AR/VR, IoT jobsite sensors). This role acts as the bridge between field operations, project teams and IT systems-ensuring technology delivers measurable value, is adopted effectively, and is continuously improved. Key Responsibilities Lead deployment and rollout of jobsite visualization and tracking technologies (e.g., OpenSpace, CMBuilder, DroneDeploy) across projects. Standardize technology workflows, ensure consistent configuration and usage guidelines across projects. Provide technical support and training to field teams, project managers and VDC staff on jobsite tech tools and dashboards. Collaborate with VDC, IT, operations and project leadership to integrate data flows (jobsite image capture, drone survey data, dashboard analytics) into project controls and WIP tracking. Design, build and maintain BI dashboards / reports that visualize project progress, productivity metrics, technology adoption, and risk/variance indicators. Monitor usage, adoption, system performance and ROI of technology tools; collect feedback and identify opportunities for improvement. Serve as subject‐matter expert in emerging construction technology (drones, reality capture, 360° jobsite imaging, AR/VR, IoT sensors) and drive pilot initiatives, proof-of-concepts and scaling. Ensure alignment between field hardware/software, IT infrastructure and data security/compliance standards. Work with procurement, IT security, project controls and operations teams to evaluate new tools, negotiate vendor relationships, manage licenses/subscriptions. Maintain documentation of technology standards, jobsite process templates, training materials, and adoption playbooks. Travel to job sites as needed to support hands-on tech rollouts, field adoption and troubleshooting. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Information Systems, Construction Technology or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction technology deployment, VDC/BIM coordination, field technology support or similar roles within construction / infrastructure. Proven experience implementing tools such as OpenSpace, drone survey / reality capture, jobsite imaging or data/BI dashboards in a construction environment is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with drone operations or reality capture workflows (e.g., DroneDeploy or equivalent). Familiarity with jobsite image capture platforms (OpenSpace or similar) and construction dashboards (CMBuilder, Procore, Power BI, Tableau). Strong proficiency with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), data visualization, and basic data analytics. Competent with construction processes, site operations and ability to translate field needs into technological solutions. Key Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills; ability to coach and train field personnel with differing technology comfort levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work across IT, field operations and project teams. Summary: The Construction Surveyor is responsible for establishing and maintaining horizontal and vertical control on construction sites, ensuring precise layout of structural components, partitions, equipment, paving, and exterior improvements. This role supports field operations by utilizing surveying technology, proactively identifying conflicts, and coordinating project needs to prevent delays and maintain cost and schedule efficiency. The Construction Surveyor reports to the Construction Surveyor Manager and works closely with Project Superintendents to facilitate successful project execution. Responsibilities: Promote a positive safety culture through proactive observations, conversations, and coaching. Utilize field engineering and layout technology to ensure accurate construction layout and alignment. Set up and operate surveying equipment, including Trimble or similar total stations, GPS systems, and laser levels. Read and interpret blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate layout. Perform layout verification for concrete foundations, paving, structural components, and vertical concrete elements. Identify potential conflicts in construction documents and provide proactive solutions to prevent errors. Work closely with project teams to anticipate and coordinate layout needs, ensuring construction progress remains on schedule. Maintain accurate records of survey data, layout points, and field adjustments. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and LEMOINE's quality control requirements. Assist with training field personnel on surveying procedures and equipment use as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Field Engineer Manager or Project Superintendent. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management, Survey Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience: Prior experience in commercial construction surveying or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency with surveying equipment such as Trimble, GPS systems, total stations, and laser levels. Experience in AutoCAD and blueprint reading required. Knowledge of layout techniques for foundations, paving, and vertical concrete structures preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
