Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and prep door for finishing process.
Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.
Understand operation of spray equipment and vent hoods and other equipment necessary for performing daily duties.
Coats products with proper applicator for chosen finish.
Operates wide sander and hand sander as process requires.
Performs Quality Assurance review of all finished products prior to packaging for shipping. All and any defects in the door, whether from the Finish department or from elsewhere, will be brought to management's attention.
Package finished doors in bags to be bundled for shipping.
Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
Cleans all equipment and work area daily.
Other duties as may be assigned by management.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
