Ensure curb appeal of property and common areas by cleaning windows, floors, and carpets, watering landscape, replacing light bulbs, and finishing a variety of other tasks Complete Painting, removing of trash and cleaning of apartments for apartment turnovers as assigned Assist with the organization of maintenance materials, informing the Service Director of supply needs and keeping the storage area locked and organized Walk the property daily, prepare the model and market ready units Complete all tasks on time per company safety policies. Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. : The Porter performs routine upkeep of the apartment community including buildings, amenities, and surrounding areas, ensuring a welcoming impression for residents, guests, and team members on-site. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for meticulous upkeep and trash removal of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and community common areas. Assist in the cleaning and preparation of units including trash removal from vacant apartments. Complete weather preparation and clean up as needed. Organize, maintain, and utilize provided supplies in a cost-effective manner. Present an appearance appropriate to the image of the company. Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by community leadership. Qualifications: Professional Experience: Minimum of one year of Porter experience preferred. Education: High school education or equivalent is preferred. Accurately perform basic mathematical functions. Computer Skills: Beginner computer and Internet knowledge preferred. Ability to use on-site resident management software preferred. Physical Demands: Physical demands may include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The team member will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands. The team member may occasionally be required to climb.
