ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Interact with MCG based personnel on matters pertaining to service materials, product requirements, availability, and code compliance
* Safely support crane assembly on customer jobsites
* Plan & coordinate activities concerned with investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems by utilizing applicable processes to eliminate future operational or service difficulties
* Analyze and troubleshoot problems when beyond the capabilities of the local distributor or customer
* Continue education through technical training schools, and hands-on troubleshooting under instruction of senior Product Service Managers.
* Analyzes reports of technical problems to determine trends affecting future design, production, service and maintenance processes and recommends modifications to eliminate future problems
* Submit written detailed service reports, timecards, and expense reports
* Represent the company with integrity and a professional image
JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
* High school education with a minimum of 2 years' general mechanical or electrical experience or Technical Degree with a minimum of 1-year same experience.
* Must have technical service background, computer literate, able to read and interpret technical drawings, good communication skills both written and oral.
* Must have ability and willing to learn to work with 480v of electricity.
* Previous crane experience a strong plus but not required.
* Hydraulic experience a strong plus
* Must be able to travel locally and overseas frequently up to 75% of time
* Must be able to climb ladders.
* Must be able to work in all types of weather
* Candidates with prior experience in heavy equipment, aircraft or military vehicles and electronics should apply.

Qualifications:

LMI seeks a skilled Deployment Manager responsible for assisting Customs and Border Protection (CBP), US Border Patrol (USBP) to execute its tactical infrastructure construction, maintenance, and repair program, which generally consists of the life cycle planning and execution of construction, maintenance and repair along the borders of the United States. This position will support the deployment of the Program Management Office Directorate (PMOD) Subterranean Portfolio Linear Ground Detection System (LGDS) program at remote border locations. Responsibilities
You will serve as a deployment manager for the client's linear technology. You will facilitate the clients technology construction deployments by:
Serving as agency representative for assigned project(s), responsible for a successful execution of the CBTT Program
Being responsible for successful project execution including management of scope, schedule, budget, risk, and contractor performance
Being responsible for ensuring timely elevation of project issues through the Planning and Project Execution Team for resolution
Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks, issues, and opportunities for assigned project(s)
Serving as the project expert and spokesperson for the project(s) with responsibility to present, explain, and defend program management issues and directions to higher-level official in CBP, DHS, and other government agencies and interested public groups as requested by the Program Manager.
Collaborating with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Federal Aviation Agency (FAA), Engineering, Business Management, key stakeholders, and other offices throughout the project life cycles
Coordinating all project related outreach efforts
Qualifications
Background Investigation: Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation required.
Education & Experience: Master's degree in business, management, finance, or information management with 10+ years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or High School diploma with 25+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in: Deploying technology systems and construction management, remote sensor maintenance and/or repair, and/or Civil/site design.
Experienced leader with: 3-5 years in a related team-lead role with 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of MD-102.
Understanding of NEPA and federal real estate clearance process.
Engineering and project management for DHS or DoD in communications and sensor technology.
Technical Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Excellent Communication & Problem-Solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
Strong organizational Skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Experienced in managing multiple projects with independent schedules and budgets.
Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
