MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepares purchase orders for supplies and or equipment for purchasing to maintain adequate quantities to meet needs of residents and staff. Regularly inventories and orders supplies. Orders special equipment as needed.
Unpacks and physically stocks supply rooms and nursing stations when delivered.
Inspects and verifies items received against packing slip; initiates request for vendors corrections.
Collaborates with supply vendors to ensure residents receive their enteral urological supplies monthly. Ensures that required physicians order verification forms are filled out by attending physician and faxed back to vendor/distributor, facilitating product delivery without interruption.
Ensures customer satisfaction and positive rapport with vendors.
Performs typing, filing, faxing and computer projects as needed. Utilizes computer system for various functions, including online ordering.
Completes all mandatory in-services and attends staff meetings as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The C&Y Program Assistant works with the C&Y Program Manager, C&Y coordinator, and C&Y specialist to implement programs and activities designed to encourage social interaction and independence for children of varying ages and developmental abilities. The Program Assistant is also charged with promoting the MCC Children's Program in a positive manner while adhering to the MCC Guiding Principles and Mission. The Assistant must work reliably, effectively, efficiently, and with respect for residents, staff, families, volunteers, professional consultants, and the physical environment of the Center.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The C&Y Program Assistant at the Mary Campbell Center must 1) be a good person of high character who consistently works with a positive attitude and demonstrates compassion and understanding for program participants with varying degrees of disability; 2) be willing to plan/implement activities for children and youth with developmental disabilities; 3) must have excellent leadership, communication, customer service, and organizational skills; 4) demonstrate the ability to interact on a positive basis with children, families, and all levels of personnel; 5) have the ability to lift and transfer children up to adult weight and utilize safe lifting procedures and to assist with personal care including feeding and toileting; 6) be willing to swim and assist participants in the pool and 7) demonstrate the ability to work both independently, and as a team player. 8) Have or be willing to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in implementing activities that will encourage recreational and social development for children with disabilities and from varying backgrounds.

Assist in the training of new staff.

About this Position
ChristianaCare is searching for Director of Finance to be responsible for the strategic leadership and financial oversight of Wilmington Hospital, which includes over 320 beds with two subacute units. The Wilmington Hospital has over $400M in annual operating revenue and this position will provide the planning and financial expertise for the location while serving as the onsite liaison between the senior leadership team of the entity and Corporate Finance. This role will serve on the senior leadership team of the entity as well as on various committees as deemed appropriate.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for onsite operational financial matters for all service lines and departments associated with the hospital. This includes, but is not limited to, nursing, perioperative, heart and vascular, pharmacy, imaging, laboratory, respiratory and rehabilitation services.
Prioritize the accuracy and integrity of entities financial statements.
Responsible for the financial outcomes and interpretation of results to local executives, management, board, and other local institutions. Each month will articulate the financial outcomes in a Management's Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) report which will be utilized as a communication tool to Corporate Finance and local leaders.
Meets with entity directors, managers, and leaders to discuss monthly financial performance. Assist in training new leaders in financial matters.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Active nursing license in the State of Delaware
Master's degree in nursing, healthcare or related field
Formal project management training or equivalent with five years of experience in managing senior level complex organizational projects across service lines.
Demonstrated sustainment in achievement of desired outcomes and leading transformational organizational projects for quality/safety.
Certification by National Association for Health Care Quality (CPHQ) within 18 months of eligibility

The Lead Maintenance Technician assists the Director of Facilities in performing repairs and maintenance to the building, grounds and vehicle operations of the Center. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Job Description
The Mary Campbell Center is first, last, and always, home to 68 residents. Together, ensure staff services are delivered with a high degree of quality, in a homelike environment where residents live with respect, personal dignity, and independence to the fullness of their abilities. The Lead Maintenance Technician assists the Director of Facilities in performing repairs and maintenance to the building, grounds and vehicle operations of the Center. The Lead Maintenance Mechanic must work reliably, effectively, efficiently, and with respect for residents, staff, families, volunteers, professional consultants, and the physical environment of the Center.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The Lead Maintenance Mechanic at the Mary Campbell Center must: 1) be a good person of high character who consistently works with a positive attitude and demonstrates compassion and understanding for residents with varying degrees of disability; 2) have the ability to read, write and follow verbal instructions; 3) possess a strong mechanical aptitude and skill in the use of basic tools; 4) demonstrate the ability to operate and perform basic maintenance repairs for vehicles, lawn, garden and snow removal equipment; 5) have the ability to lift, push, pull equipment and supplies of varying weights up to 50 lbs. In some cases, moving more than 50lbs will be required which a group lift or other options must be used; will be required to bend, lift & or use a ladder to complete their duties; 6) possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record 7) Must be proficient in carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and any other areas of commercial maintenance. 8) Required to get ceiling lift certification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Conduct regular inspections of the facility. Including, but not limited to: room/office audits, generator testing, ceiling lift systems, fire doors, etc.
Assist Director of Facilities with emergency preparedness training of staff
Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems
Completes maintenance repair work orders as assigned
Perform basic wheelchair repairs
Work with the maintenance team to mentor and assist
Oversee the maintenance staff in the absence of the Director of Facilities.
Completes Interior rehabilitation
Performs general maintenance on vehicles and grounds equipment
Ability to operate truck/equipment to assists with snow removal as assigned
Work with vendors and contractors to make sure jobs are completed on schedule and within budget
Must have basic knowledge of computers, so to access maintenance orders via email.
Participates in the Maintenance-On-Call rotation
Assures OSHA standards are maintained while performing all duties
Attends mandatory in-service training sessions and staff meetings.
Performs other duties as assigned

The C&Y Program Lead Assistant works with the C&Y Program Manager, C&Y Specialist and C&Y Plus Specialist to implement programs and activities designed to encourage social interaction and independence for children and young adults of varying ages and developmental abilities. The Program Lead Assistant is also charged with promoting the MCC Children's Program in a positive manner while adhering to the MCC Guiding Principles and Mission. The Lead Assistant must work reliably, effectively, efficiently, and with respect for residents, staff, families, volunteers, professional consultants, and the physical environment of the Center.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The C&Y Program Lead Assistant at the Mary Campbell Center must 1) be a good person of high character who consistently works with a positive attitude and demonstrates compassion and understanding for program participants with varying degrees of disability; 2) possess an Associate's Degree with at least 12 credit hours toward a degree in child development, special education, or a related field; 3) have at least 2 years' experience working with children with special needs in a group setting; 4) be willing to plan, implement and lead activities for children, youth and young adults with developmental disabilities; 5) must have excellent leadership, communication, customer service, and organizational skills; 6) demonstrate the ability to interact on a positive basis with children, young adults, families, and all levels of personnel; 7) have the ability to lift and transfer C&Y program participants up to adult weight and utilize safe lifting procedures and to assist with personal care including feeding and toileting; and 8) demonstrate the ability to work both independently, and as a team player. Previous experience working with children and young adults with disabilities is preferred. A basic understanding of Excel and Microsoft applications is preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in planning and implementing activities that will encourage recreational and social development for children and young adults with disabilities and from varying backgrounds for both in-person and virtual programs.
Lead program activities and provide supervision to the participants in program.
Serve as a resource to volunteers assisting with program.
Follow Center and departmental policies and procedures.
Assist in the training of new staff through established policies under the guidance of the C&Y Manager.
Assist in coordination of vehicles, pool use, outside venues, and trips.
Assist with necessary program documentation, mailings, and reports for the C&Y Team.
Facilitate open communication with participants and families.
Perform personal care duties and meal assistance for participants as needed.
Create & follow weekly program schedules and activities.
Perform daily setup and cleanup of activities as needed.
Assist the participants in the pool during free swim and lessons. Be willing to acquire lifeguarding certification if needed.
Encourage independence and self-confidence for children within program.
Utilize established behavior management techniques, where necessary, which are used in conjunction with Center policies and procedures.
Maintain open communication with the Children & Youth Program Manager, C&Y Specialists regarding the status of participants and program.
Bring any safety hazards to the attention of the C&Y Manager or appropriate department head.
Completes all mandatory in-services and attends staff meetings as required.

The Activities Specialist is responsible for leading the Center's in-house activities team members in ensure these services are delivered with a high degree of quality in a truly homelike environment in which MCC residents live with respect, personal dignity, and independence to the fullness of their abilities. The Activities Specialist is charged with planning, implementing and supervising a diversified set of recreational programs suited to the unique needs, abilities and interests of permanent and respite residents while adhering to the MCC Guiding Principles and Mission. The Activities Specialist must work reliably, effectively, efficiently, and with respect for residents, staff, families, volunteers, professional consultants, and the physical environment of the Center.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
The Activities Specialist at the Mary Campbell Center must 1) be a good person of high character who consistently works with a positive attitude and demonstrates compassion and understanding for residents with varying degrees of disability, and 2) possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Services or Therapeutic Recreation or a related discipline. The Activities Specialist must have the ability to motivate participation, generate enthusiasm, create appropriate programs and be capable of effectively supervising and training staff and volunteers. The Activities Specialist must hold current lifeguard, CPR and first aid certifications, have a working knowledge of pool chemistry and possesses the ability to lift and transfer an adult and use a lift device proficiently when required. The Activities Specialist should hold a valid driver's license and be willing and qualified to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL). In addition, he/she should possess verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in utilizing technology tools to effectively manage program reporting and achieve department goals. Previous successful experience working with persons with disabilities and/or working in a rehabilitative setting is preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Plans, organizes and implements a diverse set of Activities programs suited to the unique needs, abilities and interests of permanent and respite residents and community program
Remains aware of resident's physical abilities/limitations/changes in medical situations and reports any change in resident condition to the Neighborhood Nurse.
Ensures resident care needs are met during all activities conducted both within The Mary Campbell Center and at external events.
Develops written Individual Program Plan (IPP) goals and objectives to address the unique needs/interests of residents. Evaluates and compiles resident's participation data.
Documents on resident progress on IPPs goals on a timely basis, as per policy.
Serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team and works cooperatively to solve problems and to address the needs of residents.
Attends and participates in Interdisciplinary initial, annual and quarterly reviews; completes comprehensive functional assessments as required.
Supervises Activities Specialist, Activities Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator (50% of the time), Adult Day Program RCT .
Ensures appropriate staffing for Adult Day Program participants and develops meaningful programming to support their needs.
Completes staff performance appraisals as needed.
Supervises adult and junior volunteers while assisting with in-house
Updates Policy and Procedures as assigned.
Coordinates use of facility with community agencies with assistance from the Assistant Executive Director.
Provides supports to the activities department to include aquatics, physical development, community trips as assigned.
Purchases needed supplies/equipment; keeps inventory and current accounting of expenses. Makes recommendations for annual budget needs and supplies.
Assist with the planning and implementation Special Olympics/MAPTs, 5K, Camp Fairlee or any special event program offered to support residents recreational or physical well-being.
Ensures trip protocols are followed and completed in accordance with established Departmental Guidelines.
Ensures positive public relations with community volunteers and organizations by choosing appropriate written and verbal techniques.
Transports residents safely to various community outings using established vehicle protocol and procedures. Obeys and adheres to all traffic laws to ensure the safety of the staff and residents.
Brings any safety hazards to the attention of the Director of Resident Experience.
Completes all mandatory in-services and attends staff meetings as required.
