Assemblers will assemble mechanical components according to specifications by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Comply with all safety and quality guidelines/regulations.
After certification, follow Operator Method Sheets (OMS) and Standardized work sheets and:
Kit specified parts (manually or using overhead crane) needed to assemble products built onsite
Complete assembly work using various tools and equipment (press, torque equipment, part washer, sealant dispenser, manual tools, backlash measurement and adjustment, etc.)
Conduct leak test and functional test on the assembled product to ensure it meets product specifications before being shipped to customer.
As required, assist with new product and prototype build.
Actively report any tool, equipment, or parts issues to manufacturing lead group (Supervisor or Line Leader) and/or Quality Engineer as soon as they are noticed and assist in resolution of issue if required.
Clean and maintain organization of work area (machinery, equipment, tools, etc.), internally and externally, as required to maintain good operating efficiency (5S).
Actively supports Kaizen activities as required to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous assembly experience is a plus.
Ability to stand, stoop, and kneel during the shift.

Insulation Assembly Job Responsibilities:
Assist stagers in moving sections to assembly area.
Cut haircell insulation to proper size as required.
Install haircell insulation and retainer clips or backer sheets.
Move completed orders to staging area.
Work closely with Material Expediter and Stager to ensure appropriate inventory of supplies.
Assist Stagers in moving finished goods to shipping.
Keep work area clean and well organized.
