Is This Your Company?
How many times has a dumb customer knocked over a fondue pot? That has yet to happen. When a pot of boiling liquid is sitting on a table, that your crotch is sitting under, people tend to be careful.
Have you ever had a customer sent to the hospital because they burnt/hurt themselves?I have never heard of someone getting hurt, and going to the hospital.
I was very close to serving at the one in knoxville, tn. My friends that worked (some cooked, some served) there promised me $100 minimum in tips per shift. Do you find the same to be true/what are the tips like per shift?Money is never guaranteed with a tip based income. I made a little under $100 yesterday, and wasn't very busy. I find more often than not i am exhausted, it is a physically and mentally tiring job. A lot of heavy lifting, and endless talking and explaining. Most customers get quite frustrated with the menu too, so riding that out is super draining. I did however work my *** off for three shifts and totaled a grand in tips ending the day before yesterday. That's New Years for you.
What are the best deals they run? (I've seen happy hour and gift card deals for example)Every shop has its own owner, therefore different specials. We have a "endless" special for cheese and chocolate fondue at $20 a person. I hate that special as a server, but its baller as a customer. Just look at the website for the one closest to you.. They normally do great lunch specials on the weekends too.
