Behavior Analyst
Starting at $85,000/year (Salary + OT) plus a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Must hold an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and Missouri state license.

Your Impact
Work directly with individuals and staff to observe, identify, and support a wide range of behavioral needs
Conduct functional behavioral assessments to uncover the “why” behind behaviors and guide effective intervention strategies
Develop personalized behavior analysis service plans that promote growth, self-regulation, and skill development
Collaborate closely with care teams, families, and residential staff to ensure consistent, compassionate support
Train and coach team members so that every plan is implemented with consistency, compassion, and respect
Required Education, Experience, and Certifications
Master's Degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Active Missouri license as a Behavior Analyst

d. Assesses patient's appropriateness for Live Alone Program.
e. Regularly assesses patient's ability for self care and caregiver's ability to provide safe care.
f. Assesses the patient's, caregiver's and family's environmental and financial resources as they relate to the provision of patient care and future family health. Makes referrals to the appropriate resources as needed.
3. Provides social work interventions as appropriate.
a. Ensures that psychosocial assessments identify issues that are impacted by the terminal diagnosis and the symptoms of the patient's disease.
b. Conducts ongoing assessment during any contact or interaction related to the patient, caregiver and family.
c. Provides short-term individual and family counseling for specific problems solving or symptom relief.
d. Provides advocacy as needed. Ensures that interventions are initiated according to patient and family preferences.
e. Enhances the strengths of the family's system.
f. Assesses and refers for ongoing bereavement services.
g. Maintains the dignity of the dying patient and the grieving family.
h. Supports the patient's, caregiver's and family's unique spiritual and cultural beliefs.
i. Provides holistic family-centered care across treatment settings.
j. Provides appropriate crisis intervention as needed.
k. Assists with decision making and care planning and prepares advance directives as needed.
l. Provides information and assistance with decisions for funeral planning according to patient and family preferences.
m. Assists IDG in understanding significant emotional factors and helps team members address issues according to the patient's preferences.
n. Ensures that the IDG identifies a patient's and family's beliefs and/or philosophies and honors these beliefs in all care decisions.
o. Relates to patients, caregiver, families and IDG members during stress periods.
p. Reports abuse and neglect to the primary team and appropriate community protective agencies.
4. Documents the evaluation and assessment of patients, caregiver's and family's psychosocial status, needs and interventions provided.
a. Documents clinical notes after every patient contact and includes basic content of each session, progress and future plans.
b. Completes a plan of social work treatment including goals, plans for intervention and implementation
c. Develops Plan of Care in consultation with patient, caregiver, family and IDG members resulting from psychosocial assessments and evaluations.
d. Updates/initiates MSW physician orders
e. Participates in the development and revision of the Plan of Care.
5. Maintains professional knowledge and skills by attending educational meetings, workshops and in-services, maintaining knowledge of current literature and resources, and incorporating learning into practice.
6. Participates in continuing education programs as requested or as required under state and federal regulations.
7. Provides in-service training as needed.
8. Ensures that the goals of the strategic plan that relate to community visibility and development are met.
a. Responds to community requests for information and education.
b. Participates in public speaking engagements as needed.
c. Serves as liaison to community extended care facilities and inpatient providers.
Qualifications
Master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education with a minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in Social Work preferred.
2. Maintains current state license for LCSW, if applicable.
3. Knowledge of social work ethics and accepted social work practice standards.
4. Willing to work the hours necessary to enable Hospice to meet its commitments to the patients/families.
5. Interest in keeping abreast of trends and developments in social work, Hospice care and related fields.
7. Ability to work as part of a team as well as function independently and coordinate activities as appropriate to accurately complete tasks in a timely manner.
8. Understands and maintains confidentiality.
9. Complies with HIPAA regulations.
10. Ability to relate well with staff, general public or individuals with a life limiting illness and their families during a stressful period.
11. Knowledge of, committed to and adherence to Center for Hospice Care concepts, philosophy, policies and procedures and reimbursement methods.
12. Computer literate, ability to learn new data bases, able to operate office equipment.

Natchaug Hospital provides transportation from school to the Joshua Center Program, and then to the student's home.

When people need intensive, comprehensive treatment for psychiatric and chemical dependency issues but do not need inpatient or residential hospital care, Natchaug offers intensive, structured clinical treatment in programs that may include up to six hours of treatment a day, five days a week. These intensive treatment programs can help prevent the need for hospitalization. They can also help people make the transition to home after inpatient or residential treatment. The purpose of the Therapist is to provide high-quality, therapeutic services to clients, ensuring their mental health and well-being. The Therapist is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other internal and external professionals. This role also involves participating in outreach and marketing efforts to promote services and attract new referrals, contributing to the overall mission of delivering comprehensive mental health care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine individuals' needs and appropriate interventions.
Utilize standardized assessment tools and techniques to gather relevant information.
Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and the treatment team.
Set measurable goals and objectives tailored to individuals' needs.
Deliver therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
Implement therapeutic techniques to address various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
Provide consistent and comprehensive services to all assigned individuals on your caseload.
Ensure regular contact and follow-up with individuals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Accurately document all client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation within established timeframes per company policy.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
Work closely with other professionals as a multidisciplinary treatment team, to provide holistic care.
Participate in regular treatment team meetings to discuss progress and treatment strategies of individuals served.
Provide immediate support and intervention during crisis situations.
Develop safety plans and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
Engage in community outreach to promote mental health services and attract new clients.
Connect individuals and families with additional resources and support services as needed.
Stay current with best practices, new treatment modalities, and emerging trends in mental health therapy.
Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, disseminate information, and resolve complaints or concerns.
If providing services in NC, additional responsibilities include:
Actively engage with individuals through assessment, coordination, health promotion, and transitional care, documenting assessments and coordinating with the care team and treatment teams.
Provide comprehensive care management, coordination, health promotion, individual and family supports, and referrals to community services.

Alabama:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of two years' experience working with children and/or families, which may include internships.
Must be eligible for licensure as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or ALC.
Florida:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of one year experience working with children and/or families, which may include internships and volunteer work.
Must be a Registered Intern (RMHCI) with the State of Florida.
Mississippi:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of two years' experience working with children and/or families, which may include internships.
Must be eligible for licensure as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
North Carolina:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of one year experience working with children and/or families, which may include internships.
Must hold associate license as a LCSWA or LCMHCA.
South Carolina
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Minimum of two years' experience working with children and/or families, which may include internships.
Must hold license as a LMSW, LMFT, or LPCA.
Tennessee:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.

The School-Based Therapist provides therapeutic services to children and adolescents primarily in school settings, but may also provide services in community or outpatient settings. The therapist will address emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues to enhance students' overall functioning in school, home, and community environments. This role includes providing individual, group, and family therapy, coordinating with schools and community resources, and maintaining accurate documentation. As a licensed clinician you will be responsible for ensuring that your credentials remain current, you comply with all training requirements, and you are adequately supervising your staff.
Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to address inquiries, disseminate information, and resolve complaints or concerns.
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required for this position.
At least two years of experience in working with children and/or families is required, including internships if applicable.
Must be eligible for professional licensure in the state of Georgia as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
