The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the marketing of all Globe products from strategic planning to tactical activities. The role is responsible for creating and implementing a marketing communication and training plan. Familiarity with the distribution channel and go to market organization. This person pulls together, communicates and collaborates with the right team of company resources to manage marketing toward synchronized, effective and strategic practices.
Responsibilities:
* Creates, manages and executes the Marketing and Communication plan.
* Works closely with the Product Line Manager to launch new products.
* Creates content articulating the value proposition of our products and services.
* Provides detailed information, training and product marketing collateral material to assist sales and other departments.
* Manages marketing team, meetings and planning sessions.
* Develops and executes marketing plans for trade shows and other events. Supports the marketing of existing and new products and services. Coordinates advertising, marketing communications and public relations efforts.

* Observes and analyzes new trends and competitive activities to seek out innovative ways to build the brand.
* Manages events; including meetings, trade shows and exhibits.
* Establishes curricula, appropriate medium for delivering and executes sales training.
* Develops marketing collateral material, ensuring valid, current and accurate content, including case studies, sell sheets; both product and segment, and competitive comparisons in conjunction with the Director of Product Management.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth in the foodservice, food retail, supermarket, and bakery markets for Varimixer products. This individual will leverage Middleby National Accounts, direct customer contacts, dealers, and food retail distributors to target independent and chain supermarkets, commissaries, bakeries, food processors, and restaurants. Serving as the product expert for the Varimixer line, this role supports application requirements, provides training, and assists with all product-related opportunities.
In addition, the role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy, identifying new business and product opportunities, building key relationships, and negotiating and closing deals. This includes supporting customers at the management level, contributing to pricing recommendations, helping achieve profitability goals, and coordinating selling activities. The Business Development Manager will collaborate across the organization, bringing together the right resources to manage and grow key accounts effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Develop an overall go-to-market strategy to penetrate national accounts, food retail chains, independents, bakeries and commissaries. Develop and create profitable new business opportunities.
* Develop and execute training plans for Globe/Varimixer RSM's and national account manager to prepare them for selling Varimixer into the foodservice industry.
* Assist with Varimixer product application and technical expertise in rep and dealer sales activities when needed.
* Manage national and regional accounts through the development of strong business relationships with key customer contacts and decision makers. This includes populating Globe/Varimixer's database with this information, which includes emails and phone numbers.
* Manage segment profitability and develop pricing recommendations.
* Be the liaison between the customer and Globe/Varimixer to coordinate and manage the execution of all programs/projects:
* Collaborate with Globe/Varimixer resources to define customer expectations and product specifications which includes performance, price, application, and timelines.
* Work closely with Product Management, Engineering and Customer Service teams to ensure Varimixer's competitive advantages are realized with the customers.
* Manage the communications externally with customers and internally with the Globe/Varimixer team to ensure all information is shared and understood by all necessary stakeholders.
* Monitor and communicate on all market and competitor activities and provide updates and reports on accounts to Globe/Varimixer.
* Plan and prioritize sales activities with each targeted account to ensure achievement of agreed upon business goals and objectives. Identify formal and informal decision makers and create a program that meets products, service and financial goals of targeted accounts and Varimixer.
* Communicate and coordinate sales activities with the Vice President of Sales.
* Assist in the development of new products to capitalize on Varimixer's unique product offerings.
* Attend national and international tradeshows when needed.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree required or 3+ years' experience in the food retail B2B capital equipment business.
* Experience in a technical, engineering environment with long development cycles.
* Proven business development skills with strong ability to interface well with customers at all levels.
* Experience at a "matrixed" organization and understand how to collaborate with multiple functions and coordinate product achievements by capitalizing on all company resources to meet customer needs.
* Experience with costs and pricing technical products. Ability to understand pricing models and translating product information and costs with large account customers.

* Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.
* Attend and participate in all required training.
* Understand and implement the quality standard procedures that relate to the role and responsibilities of a Coating Operator.
* Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department/group and assists other areas as required.
* Continuously review current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product/process quality and reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process.
* Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Teamwork: Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals. Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility. Contribute and participate in team decision making. Provide support in project work and other special requests.
* Perform all other functions as necessary.
* High school diploma/GED or 3 years manufacturing experience.
* Previous manufacturing experience preferred
* Must be able to follow written and oral instruction.
* Must regard safety as a core value; must serve as role model for other employees and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies and procedures.
* Must have strong service and quality focus; address issues effectively when problems arise and take initiative to understand root cause, then communicate / education team in a timely manner.
* Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks of the job and a willingness to learn and share knowledge; must take initiative to cross-train and sustain acquired skills.
* Must have demonstrated record of flexibility and dependability in order to support production and customer focus.
* Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
* Must demonstrate proficiency with computer applications, especially strong MFG Pro transactional skills.
