The Jira Product Manager should have experience with performing all areas of JIRA administration for a portfolio of software applications program and projects. This includes the administration, configuration, maintenance, change control, risk management and validation and verification of Jira to support and optimize business processes. This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise on configuring, managing and maintaining the Jira instance, to meet the needs of the organization to include creating and maintaining custom fields, workflows, and schemes, and managing Jira projects. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the Jira configuration supports existing business processes. Analyze, review, and document current functionality of Jira system configurations and processes to determine potential areas of improvement. Gather requirements for new business processes and provide continuous improvements to the Jira instance by developing new customizations, integrating with other tools, or implementing Jira best practices. Provide training and support to Jira users including conducting training sessions, creating content for user guides, and also briefing the clients and project teams on new functionalities. Analyze complex problems, develop and document alternate solutions Follow and aid in developing governance processes Devise, test, and deploy integration's between Atlassian products and other internal tool chains Perform routine monitoring activities and report on the status of the project and related tasking Research and implement new approaches on Jira and potential Confluence usage Travel Up to 10% domestic travel, as needed Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with focus on Atlassian solutions, including Jira, Jira Service Manager and Confluence Certified Atlassian Jira Administrator Experience with SAFe Agile Framework; working knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies Expertise in project management best practices Expertise with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project) Strong communication and collaboration skills Desired Qualifications PMP or CAPM certification Experience with Power BI Reporting Education BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is required; MS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred Clearance Secret required; Top Secret preferred Compensation The MIL Corporation values your contributions and offers a range of benefits to support your overall well-being. Optical Quantum Metrology: Optical quantum metrology encompasses the generation, detection, characterization, and verification of quantum states of light, including the use of quantum entanglement to enhance sensitivity compared to classical methods. Detection methods include cutting-edge single-photon sources and state-of-the-art (photon-number resolving) single-photon detectors to investigate fundamental aspects of optical quantum metrology. Optical Quantum Metrology includes developing measurement protocols and characterization tools for single-photon sources, detectors, and components. It also includes protocols used for applications such as entanglement distribution in quantum networks, synchronization of distant quantum network nodes, quantum component characterization and quantum-enhanced measurements using exotic and non-Gaussian quantum states of light. 2.
