Schedule: 10pm - 6:30am Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is 36.96/hour. This role will also receive overtime compensation and shift differential. Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards. Receive road calls, assign third party vendor, and work with business partners on plan of action. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines. Utilize fleet maintenance software system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used. Backup to other maintenance shop personnel. Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certificates. Other duties as assigned by manager. Responsible for overseeing broiler farms as a representative of Koch Foods to contracted growers. Monitor house conditions, bird welfare, provide technical assistance and recommend condition improvements, grower performance, and cost reductions. Act as a liaison between Company and contract growers providing technical advice to growers regarding Company expectations. Monitor assigned flocks for bird comfort, equipment settings, etc., ensuring grower compliance with Company policies and procedures, and Federal and State regulatory laws and guidelines. Track, analyze and record bird mortality rates. Maintain feed tank inventories, ordering feed and coordinating deliveries. Ensure maximization of grower performance, and adherence to animal welfare laws and regulations. Share performance numbers with growers and review performance deficiencies. Other relevant duties as assigned. Bachelor Degree in Agricultural, Poultry or Animal Science, or other closely related field. Current and valid Driver's License, with a clean Motor Vehicle Record required. Must have knowledge of and experience with live poultry broilers and overall bird health. What this Job Entails: The Field Technician III will provide support to all assigned locations, including data centers and Points of Presence (POPs), and physical site services. The person in this role will coordinate with network teams as well as local vendors for installation, repair and maintenance activities. Manage local construction vendors working on behalf of the company to ensure compliance with installation, repair, maintenance MOPs and standards, as well as quality and cleanliness. Meet/coordinate with Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) and other technicians to facilitate timely installation, repair, and maintenance activities as necessary. Perform site surveys in support of network builds, augments, or decommissions. Experience with installing and maintaining a wide variety of telecom/network equipment, including DWDMs, backbone and management routers, IP switches, as well as all optical and digital infrastructure. Deep understanding of splicing, and an understanding of how to maintain and operate within a manhole, vault, or handhole environment. Experience with telecommunications testing equipment from microscopes and source and power meters to OTDRs and experience testing across all SONET and Ethernet bandwidths. Extensive knowledge of telecommunications testing standards and procedures from length, wire-mapping, and bit error rate to power, delay, loss, reflectance and dispersion. Experience with state and local regulatory standards, procedures, and permitting requirements. Ability to work effectively with local exchange carrier (LEC) and other telecom service provider technicians, building landlords, electricians, construction operators, and non-technical end users. Ability to work independently, diagnose problems and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
