What you'll do:

Industrial Electrical Instrumentation Technician

As an E&I Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to help the world grow the food it needs and keep our plants running smoothly. What you'll do:

Troubleshoot and assess all EIA systems across the Plant or Mine
Adjust hardware to maintain the interface between automation and operations

Perform maintenance on equipment that monitors flow, temperature, density, and pressure
Daily communication with area supervisors to prioritize and delegate tasks
Input data into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

What you'll need:
High school diploma or GED preferred
4+ years' experience in an industrial electrical environment or completion of an accredited electrical program
Experience troubleshooting heavy industrial electrical equipment such as wiring and creating motor controls from scratch
Heavy industrial instrumentation experience
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Collect, interpret, and share technical data and recommendations with internal and external subject matter experts.
Perform and review engineering analyses, to address challenges related to soil mechanics, structures (concrete and steel), and water management.
Coordinate with consulting engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver effective engineering solutions.
Demonstrate compliance with applicable Federal (MSHA, USACE and NPDES), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Rules 62-672, and County permit conditions.
Collaborate with internal teams to demonstrate compliance with design requirements and operational need.
Support operation and monitoring of civil works throughout the mine.
Apply sound judgment in decision making to compare the effectiveness of various design solutions to manage risk, cost and schedule requirements.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's degree in engineering with a major in Civil Engineering, Environmental, Structural, Geotechnical or Mining Engineering is required.
Proven experience as a mine engineer, regulator or engineering consultant supporting the mining industry.
Demonstrated proficiency in the geotechnical engineering, design, and construction oversight for projects specific to the mining industry.
Familiarity with mine permitting processes, environmental and safety compliance standards, and water management practices within the industry.
