Position Summary: Responsible for producing hose assemblies in accordance with order specifications and ensuring that all hose assembly orders and kits are completed and shipped in time to comply with customer's required dates. Primary Duties: * Follow daily work schedules and priorities for producing hose assemblies and kits as received from the Hose Production Supervisor. * Ask Lead Operator to inspect the first hoses made on a production run and to sign off on the work order before starting full production. * Receive hose and parts into Production Center inventory. * Keep all hose assembly equipment and tools properly maintained, calibrated, clean and ready for use. * Assist in ongoing physical inventory counts as directed. * Ensure that all hose assemblies and kits have computer-generated shippers, quality assurance sheets, and are bagged and tagged, when required before shipping. * Continually improve performance by receiving training and experience in all areas of hose production. Basic Requirements: * Must be over the age of 18 to apply. * Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required. * Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced work environment. * Basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn new software program. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus * Experience with industrial distribution preferred. Familiarity with industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings, especially Parker Hannifin a plus. * Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities. * Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
