Both Programs offer an extensive independent living skills program, including vocational preparation, and educational services that assists youth towards reaching independence. The Jewish Board's Community Behavioral Health treatment programs provide compassionate, high quality, evidence-based services to individuals and families in the communities we serve. Our staff uses a culturally competent, person centered approach to help individuals and their families develop skills and resources to improve overall functioning, to instill hope, and to strengthen resiliency. Our programs work closely with community partners to address health disparities in our neighborhoods while also celebrating the strengths and resilience of our communities. Our children's community residences are single site residence's that provides a group living for eight children and/or adolescents. The program provides a supervised, trauma informed therapeutic environment, which seeks to develop the resident's skills and capacity to live in the community and attend school/work as appropriate POSITION OVERVIEW: The Director of CPI Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the quality of care in ACS/OFCS/OMH Children Residential Programs. In addition, ensure the programs are incompliances with all regulatory bodies. The Director of CPI will updates policies and procedure for the programs. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor and assist with implementing on-going CPI activities including a systematic quality improvement plan which identifies program strengths and weakness; develop internal staff trainings, conducting internal audits (scorecards), facilitating external agency audits and preparedness. Completely monthly score cards for the SILP program. The Domestic Violence Program Director is responsible for overseeing operations of all services, including supervision of the 24-hour staff team and development and oversight of the department budget. The Director is also part of the on-call team evenings and weekends one to two weeks per month and provides back up support to supervisory on-call staff as needed. Objective The Program Director (PD) position requires a thorough understanding of relevant service delivery concepts and structures, including strong knowledge and experience with mental health systems, and the ability to access and negotiate the full range of services for recipients. It also requires strong supervisory and administrative skills and the ability to interface effectively and efficiently with colleagues to ensure quality services and program operations. Furthermore, it requires good decision‑making skills and the ability to identify and facilitate necessary programmatic change.
