The Physical Therapist will provide quality individual and group sessions in person while working at our center-based program (no traveling required). Key responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT) include: · The PT will provide and direct physical therapy services to students as per their IEP mandates. · The PT will develop treatment plans to achieve identified goals. · The PT will adhere to applicable principles and practices of physical therapy, APTA policies/procedures, and state regulations. · The PT will work collaboratively with OTs, SLP's, school psychologists and classroom staff as needed to provide positive treatment outcomes. · The PT will work effectively with parents, teaching staff and other professionals directly involved in the care and treatment of the child to develop and monitor IEP services · The PT will complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely (e.g., daily session notes, quarterly progress reports, annual reviews, etc.). · The PT will participate in meetings and consultations with education staff and the multidisciplinary team concerning the needs of each child as related to his/her mandated services and progress updates · The PT will be responsible for providing input into and when appropriate fabrication of child's assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and orthotic appliance needs · The PT will comply with federal and state Physical Therapy regulations. Qualifications SPORTS & GAMES QUALIFICATIONS Our ideal Sports & Games Specialist candidate: Is enthusiastic, dependable, and passionate about youth development through sports Has experience leading sports, recreation, or group activities with children Is confident managing groups of varying sizes and age ranges Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team Demonstrates strong organization, adaptability, and problem-solving skills Can pass required background checks and provide medical clearance CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
