I am a senior human capital leader with a consistent record of achievement in high growth, premier, multi-billion dollar global companies – making contributions to company strategy, building world-class "employer of choice" programs, and effectively managing initiatives for organization design, HR programs, shared services and HR operations.

My effectiveness comes from a capacity to identify and analyze business challenges and produce innovative strategic and operational solutions in performance, satisfaction and service quality. I believe the path to understanding a problem and creating solutions is paved with better questions asked of the key stakeholders, and know that one size does not fit all in complex environments.

Some of my greatest rewards have come from running global projects that demand operational excellence and require steady, resolute leadership. I have a passion for developing my team members to progress in their own careers, challenging them to succeed through reinvention, and seeing our programs cascaded throughout our business unit and the entire enterprise.

Whether I am creating new processes to elevate HR practices or working directly to implement cultural change, I see myself as a business partner at the forefront of creative approaches to business solutions.

Pros of working at Nielsen Holdings

As an HR Business Partner every day is unpredictable, and therefore, you must be flexible natured. In a short period of time, I was able to develop my leadership skills, execution skills, strengthen communication with the ability work with C-Suite level, provide superior employee relations support and thrive in the various roles I held within HR. Having a culture that is inclusive of all people, backgrounds and experiences is what made me want to bring my best self to work everyday. The hardest part of my job is probably the ability to quickly absorb new processes and procedures that are rolled out and quickly engage your client groups, while juggling things like compensation planning, performance management, recruitment plans, international transfers, employee relations issues, RIFs, investigations, the management of office events, internship programs, leadership programs, etc. The most enjoyable part of my job was connections with people and client groups and knowing that at the end of the day, I helped, counsel employees and supported organizational-wide initiatives to support the growth and development of employees. In addition, working alongside of some of the most intelligent, fun and supportive people made all the difference!

Cons of working at Nielsen Holdings

Their is a lot of favoritism from upper management including certain religions and employees of that religion are usually the ones that get promoted. Upper management is horrible an they pretty much fire people for no reason at all.

Nielsen Holdings benefits

Good benefits and good pay with the ability to work from home.
