Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant for our client in the Salina, KS area! Headway Hospitality focuses on providing high -quality workers to clients through Headway's proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce management practices. This position offers $17.00/hr -$18.00/hr. 20 -25 hours per week for a short -term project anticipated for 3 -4 weeks. This is an onsite position.
As an Administrative Assistant you will:
Compile and prepare PowerPoint presentation content for designated meetings.
Attend meetings to set up and run the PowerPoint presentation.
Distribute presentations to participants as required.
Manage schedule/calendar, independently schedule appointments and conference calls, and originate meeting invitations
Coordinate travel arrangements and enter travel details on calendar
Coordinate and arrange staff meetings, as well as other departmental and corporate meetings as necessary.
Prepare agendas, secure facility/location, order meals, take minutes and distribute as necessary.
Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, documents, presentations, emails and faxes.
Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials as necessary.
Update and maintain key spreadsheets, contact lists, and various department reports
Research and gather information from various internal/external sources
Review, sort and route incoming/outgoing mail, faxes
Prepare expense reports and check requests
Organize and maintain department files
Maintain and order supplies within budgetary and departmental guidelines
Perform special projects as requested

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus.
Ability to learn other software programs as required
Background in executive secretarial area and/or office management.
Strong time management and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Perform functions with a high degree of ethics and confidentiality
Sense of urgency
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manual
Additional Info
Part time schedule: M - TH 8:00 am to 12:00 pm ; 20 hours/week, no more than 25 hours/week.

Field Interviewer

Seeking outgoing individuals with flexible schedules who enjoy working with the public in -person and who have research/interviewing experience or background in social work, nursing or other health care experience.
Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking Field Interviewers on behalf of our client in the Pittsburgh area. Applicants within an approximate 50 -mile radius of this location may be considered. Research is being conducted in support of the Mobility Opportunity Vouchers to Eliminate Disparities (MOVED) study being conducted for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Johns Hopkins University. This is a part -time opportunity on a long -term project that will continue through summer 2027.
As a Field Interviewer, you will schedule your appointments from home and collect data from one adult (the parent or guardian) and one child in family homes. The study focuses on assessing the effects of housing and neighborhood on health and other outcomes. In addition to conducting survey interviews, the data collection will include taking measurements such as height and weight, blood pressure, and A1c blood tests.
The base pay rate for this position is $25.02 per hour, plus a $4.98 per hour Health & Welfare stipend - for a total of $30.00 per hour.
Responsibilities of a Field Interviewer:
Follow all project specifications and protocols
Conduct computer -based interviews in -person with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
Conduct locating activities online and in -person when Respondents are difficult to reach
Regularly report to assigned Field Manager
Exercise courtesy and professionalism to all Respondents
Maintain confidentiality of all collected data
Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements of a Field Interviewer
High School Diploma or the equivalent
Good working knowledge of computers and strong typing skills
Must have home wireless internet
Must have own reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance
This position requires candidates to consent to the performance of a background check
Qualifications of a Field Interviewer
Two years of experience interviewing or in customer service
Both English and Spanish fluency is a plus
Exceptional reading, verbal, and listening skills with the ability to multi -task
The ability to speak with Respondents using a tablet and keyboard to record responses
Willingness to work in -person to locate selected households/Respondents and schedule appointments and conduct interviews
Courteous with good communication skills and “people” skills
Positive and self -motivated demeanor
Prior Field Research/Interviewing experience a plus
Additional Information:
Hours and Training
Must be available at least 20 hours per week - including some daytime and some evening hours during the week as well as on weekends when Respondents may be available
May work up to 40 hours in a week, based on the availability of work and project needs
Project training is paid and will consist of approximately 8 hours of computer self -study at home, as well as an approximately 4 -day in -person training to be conducted in the Cambridge, MA area, shortly after being hired for the position in March but exact date and time TBD.
Respondent compensation: As a “thank you” for their participation and completing the interviews and various health metrics, Respondents could receive up to $150 in incentives.
