Your Role
As the Lead Selling Associate you will propel sales, establish and continue customer relationships by delivering outstanding customer service. You will support the merchandising and maintenance of the floor and corresponding stockroom area. Your Role
A Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for proactive prevention of shortages caused by internal theft, external theft, fraud, and paperwork errors. As a Loss Prevention Associate you will report into the Assistant Store Manager, Operations.
What You'll Do
* Conduct Associate Education and Awareness meetings
* Detection and apprehension of shoplifters. Initiate and support employee investigations.
* Identify and report deficiencies in Merchandise Protection Standards through the Loss Prevention Audit Program.
* Participate in team Loss Prevention programs to reduce inventory shortage and profit loss.
* Identify and report violations of company policies to LP Leadership
* Open/Close building and arm/disarm alarm system.
* Prepare reports, secure evidence, and document all Loss Prevention incidents. Appear as witness in legal proceedings.
* Monitor CCTV system to detect incidents of dishonesty and violations of store policy.
* Conduct Worker's Compensation and Public Liability accident investigations
* Initiate investigations into loss prevention activities, internal, external, and fraud related.
What You Bring
* 1+ years in loss prevention, security, or a related field, with a understanding of investigative techniques and procedures.
* Gather complex data and evaluate to interpret patterns and potential issues.
* Communicate and work with team members and other departments to document investigations verbally and written.
* Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to loss prevention and asset protection.
* Independently manage multiple investigations simultaneously and prioritize each task.
* Proficiency in using loss prevention technologies and software, such as CCTV systems and incident management tools.

Operations
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs.
Use Buckle provided sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
Measure and mark alteration lines.
Pin altering folds or mark on cloth at seam to indicate alterations in progress.
Remove stitches from garment, using ripper or razor blade.
Resew merchandise using needle and thread or sewing machine.
Press merchandise, using a hand iron or steamer.
Repair defective merchandise.
Remove spots or stains from merchandise.
Record all work and follow through on the alteration log.
Record required alterations and instructions.
Uphold specified productivity guidelines, generally four jean alterations per hour.
Maintain a clean, organized and stocked work area and inform a Leader when additional supplies are needed.
Flexible with hours as they may fluctuate seasonally based upon business need.
Open-minded for review on the amount of work that needs to be re-done.
Communicate any policy violations to Store Manager, District Manager, and/or Human Resources in a timely, confidential manner.
Provide feedback to Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Floor Leaders regarding merchandise handling concerns.

Make FedEx labels for all packages being sent out and sort packages by required shipment transit time (expedited shipping or regular ground shipping)
Send in recalls and Return to Vendors (RTVs) on a weekly basis
Keep supplies in stock and organized (e.g. boxes, transfer bags, printer paper, hangers, sensors, etc.)
Organize fixtures and shelving
Engage in activities that support a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Maintain daily work filed and in order
Communicate any policy violations to Store Manager, District Manager, and/or Human Resources in a timely, confidential manner
