The HR Business Partner will be responsible for supporting the talent management, safety, training and development, absence management, and employee relations functions. In addition, the HR Business Partner will play a significant role supporting the Company's Annual Leadership Summit, Market of the Year, Grand Opening, and other milestone events. Key Responsibilities: * Independently provide virtual and onsite counseling to management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention (e.g. employee relations, absence management, engagement and recognition, career development, talent management initiatives, turnover and retention actions). * Under the guidance of the Regional People Manager, be the lead fact-finder on employee relations issues by conducting effective thorough and objective investigations, interpreting company policy or practices, recommending appropriate corrective action, and escalating as appropriate to the VP of People Operations * Lead alongside other functional administrators to maintain health and wellness programs, FMLA and other leave of absence programs, safety initiatives, TPS Gives Back and charitable programs, and employee experience initiatives. * Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and federal/state/regulatory employment and labor law requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department and management as needed/required. * Formulate, interpret, and analyze HR-related data and internal processes and propose best practice opportunities for process improvement to the Regional People Manager and key stakeholders. * Implement rapid response plans for understaffed locations or critical role vacancies and support the success of Field recruiting efforts under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Director. * Host people-related training sessions for leaders who are new-in-role, and develop reporting for LinkedIn Learning, the Field Management Training Calendar, and Field Onboarding. * Partner with Field Leaders to support background screening processes, including uploading and maintaining required documentation in First Advantage, responding to system flags or discrepancies, and ensuring all driver qualification files remain accurate, complete and compliant with company policy. * Formulate and oversee on-site HR Audits as it relates to pre-employment authorization, driver compliance, TPS drug and alcohol programs, communication boards, and training and development programs. * Execute onboarding processes efficiently, ensuring new hires receive a smooth and informative welcome to TPS by conducting surveys, focus groups, or interviews (e.g., 90-day reviews, office hours, and exit interviews) * Maintain accurate HR records and data within the HRIS system and ensure adherence to established system workflows. * Support event planning and onsite logistics for the Company's Market of the Year, Culture Week, new location Grand Openings, Annual Leadership Summit, and other milestone events. Handles larger collection matters for damages caused to Postal property and vehicles forwarded to the National Tort Center by Operations or Finance. 5. Writing or drafting correspondence with Postal District Managers, claimants and their attorneys; comprehensive claim summaries for postal attorneys; medical chronologies based on the review and interpretation of complex medical records, reports, diagnostics and medical billings; interrogatory and request for production responses; Freedom of Information Act responses; demand letters; settlement agreements; and other work product as required. 6. Prepares and certifies Postal discovery responses and various pleadings in connection with tort litigation, and provide other assistance as requested by Postal attorneys and the Chief Counsel. 7. Provides advice to Tort Claim Coordinators (TCCs) and other local postal officials with regard to the FTCA, tort liability issues under state laws, the value of lesser claims handled directly by the TCCs, and other related matters. 8. Position Description: We are currently seeking a Real Estate Assistant to join the Foundry Commercial Property Management team in Orlando, FL. The Real Estate Assistant is responsible for supporting the Property Management team in by providing telephone support, invoice processing and monitoring, maintaining system of contractor and tenant information, contract document preparation and monitoring, coordinating tenant request for services and maintaining filing system. Essential Job Functions: Administrative Support - provides administrative support for Property Managers and field personnel, including preparing letters, memos, spreadsheets, purchase order requests for bids and operating procedures as needed. Assist in ordering office supplies or building supplies. Maintain lease files and other files as necessary. Administer the work order system and train new engineers, as necessary. Tenant Relations - provides customer service to tenants by receiving tenant calls and coordinating requests for services. Follows up with tenants to ensure satisfaction with completed work order requests and/or provides conference service coordination. Provides emergency and safety information to tenants. Coordinates the scheduling of evacuation drills, etc. Prepares proposals and invoices for additional services and utilities. Coordinates with Property Manager and vendor to plan tenant events. Coordinates security access information requests and emergency contacts lists. Activates/deactivates property access cards. Operations - coordinates with Property Managers and building personnel for tenant move in/move out. Contacts movers for Certificate of Insurance and provides rules and regulations for after-hours move in/move out. Generates tenant “welcome” letter, handbook, and appropriate welcome gift. Coordinates with Property Manager for purchase of tenant signage (lobby, suite and building) in accordance with building specifications. Service Contracts - coordinates service contracts and monitors current contracts to ensure proper insurance and waiver of lien forms are intact. Maintains tickler file for service contract expirations. Maintains up-to-date, approved service contract list. Submits insurance claims to company. Accounting - monitors and accurately codes invoices in the accounting system in a timely manner in accordance with company guidelines. Researches invoices and follows up with vendors as needed. Assists in posting cash receipts and follows up on collections. Conducts financial/business analysis. Reconciles monthly tenant work order billings for tenants and management. Education and Experience Requested: High School Diploma or equivalent and some college preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of work-related experience. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisors, and/or management. Ability to make effective presentations on general topics to an internal department, large group of employees, clients, and/or management. Ability to motivate employees and client groups to take desired action. Requires contacting tenants regarding collections. Ability to assist in forecast and budgets. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in varying situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Must have an excellent customer service approach to property owners and tenants. Support the sales manager in recruiting, selecting, training and motivating sales associates and support staff for the successful performance of the branch office and to contribute to fulfilling the company objectives. Provide leadership in all support and sales associate areas to assure accomplishment of position objectives. May be assigned supervisory responsibilities, including employee safety, selection and development of employees, employee counseling and motivation, and salary administration. Assist in the administration of the department budget and reporting the work performed within the department. (30-35%) In partnership with the sales manager develop, recommend and implement programs and long-range objectives designed to enhance the business strategy and enable it to achieve its goals relative to profitability, cost control and organizational effectiveness with regard to new construction, market share, existing home sales and other issues, as appropriate. (20-25%) Track sales revenue, number of customers, accountability of sales associates and their production, and district market share. Assist in management of internal audit controls and standards to ensure they are within required guidelines. (20-25%) Provide effective and efficient working conditions, space, equipment and an environment that will maximize the effectiveness of sales associates and employees in accomplishing the objectives of the branch office. (15-20%) Actively participate in community activities, local and state Board of Realtors so that the company will be viewed in the best possible light by clients, sales associates, competitors and the public within the branch office location. (10-15%) Serve as the Sales Manager in his/her absence. (5-10%) May assist with regional recruiting including: career night presentation mailings, advertisement development, recruiting materials and interviewing. (10-20%) Perform other related duties of a comparable type as assigned. Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism. Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners. Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent knowledge and work experience. Experience: Two plus years of real estate experience, including supervisory/management experience. Knowledge and Skills: Experience in handling real estate transactions; knowledge of legal obligations of Realtors under state and federal laws, Department of Commerce Rules & Regulations, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics. Strong computer experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Detail oriented. Project management skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure. Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. High degree of integrity. Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.): Licensed Realtor with the goal of achieving a broker's license; continuing education credits in real estate and management.
