Career growth opportunities
Lack of budget and layoffs
Good pay
Everything! Management was great!
Being let go in a downsizing
I was able to work from home
Gained a multitude of knowledge in regards to finance, notary republic, loans, etc.
The environment can be a bit tiring and overwhelming with the constant changes the banking industry goes through.
The amount of useful information retained while working there.
My shift
I don’t really care for my job I would like to be off the phones
Overtime when wanted
Friendly environment
Because someone like me is working at the branch, my company is not making the best decision on securing our protection.
vacation days/ matching our 401K, as well as obtaining medicare and health insurance.
PNC is a great company to work for if you are looking for a sales position. They truly care about their employees and do all that they can to make sure the work environment is safe and inclusive. The management cares about their employees and their ability to progress in their careers. It is overall a safe bet to grow your career.
They only really care if they can benefit. Very stressful you only advance if you are a favorite. Not cool at all upper management is unfair
401k
You can stay there forever if you want to. They have longevity but don’t pay industry standard
You can’t get promoted . Pay is always below industry
Ability to work remote
very low pay, low match on 401k
working remote from my home office, make my own schedule.
There is nothing good about working here
Poor benefits, underpaid, micro-managers everywhere, all based on numbers you produce regardless of your actual performance with customers. Not recognized for your work. Constantly more work is added with no raise. When there is a raise it is abysmal and commissions rates are reduced simultaneously so you end up making less money. I have made less money every year I have been here. They preach about advancement within the company but this is not the case either. Overall terrible. DO NOT GET TRAPPED HERE.
match on 401(k) is standard. better match at other big banks.
They do provide benefits.
No work-life balance (but they will tell you all about how they do offer that)
Great benefits, hours, and the way you're generally treated.
Some managers don't lead by example or are micro-managers.
Retirement plan (Pension plus 401k) and healthcare.
Advancement within Pittsburgh is great. Company focuses on growing you and your career. Bonuses for sales good.
