Primary Responsibilities:
* Cleaning and sanitizing of all meal preparation areas as well as kitchen walls, stoves, sinks, ovens and grills.
* Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards, utensils and cooking equipment.
* Ensuring that food mixers, slicers and other cooking equipment are in good working order.
* Ensuring that refrigerators, freezers and storage areas are clean and well organized.
* Assisting culinary team with basic food preparation, which includes washing, peeling, and cutting meal ingredients as instructed by supervisor/manager.
* Responsible for set up, cleaning and break down of the dish machine, pot & pans area, washing of dishes, glasses and small wares.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Provide personalized spiritual care and emotional support to residents, families, and team members across the community.
* Lead ecumenical worship services-including communion and baptisms-at least once a month in various settings.
* Offer end-of-life support and participate in or officiate memorial services as needed.
* Facilitate small group gatherings such as Bible studies, prayer circles, or devotional sessions.
* Collaborate with other departments, local clergy, hospitals, and hospice teams to ensure holistic spiritual care.
* Help coordinate visits and services for residents from diverse spiritual backgrounds and traditions.
* Respect and uphold the rights, preferences, and dignity of every individual you serve.
What You'll Need:
Education & Credentials:
Master of Divinity (or equivalent) from an accredited seminary and ordination in good standing with a recognized faith tradition preferred. Completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and professional chaplaincy credentialing strongly encouraged.
Preferred Experience:
1-3 years of experience in chaplaincy, pastoral care, or related fields-especially within healthcare or aging services. Experience working with individuals with dementia and at end-of-life is highly valued.
Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to preside over sacraments (e.g., Communion and Baptism) within a recognized Christian tradition. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with individuals who may have difficulty hearing or speaking.
Bonus Skills:
Talents in music, visual or performing arts, spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, or holistic practices are a plus!
Technology:
Comfort using Microsoft Office and general office equipment (projectors, copiers, AV tech, etc.) is expected.

What You'll Do in This Role:
Join our Huron Valley PACE team as a Medical Assistant and make a meaningful impact every day! This role blends hands-on clinical care with administrative support to keep our clinic running smoothly. You'll assist with exams, procedures, documentation, and participant coordination - all while supporting a mission that helps older adults age with independence.
Because this is a community-based PACE program, you'll also play an essential role in supporting care both onsite and out in the community. Candidates with home care or community-based field experience are strongly encouraged to apply, as these skills help ensure we deliver seamless, person-centered care across settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
Clinical Support & Patient Care
* Partner with nurses, physicians, and other team members to ensure smooth clinic flow and participant care.
* Welcome participants, escort them to exam rooms, and assist with comfort and positioning during visits.
* Take and accurately record vital signs, including height, weight, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure.
* Assist with lab work, specimen collection, and routine ADL (Activities of Daily Living) care.
* Document care, observations, and procedures in participant records.
* Communicate changes in participant condition promptly to nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
Clinic Operations & Administrative Support
* Keep the clinic organized and running efficiently by managing the daily schedule and coordinating appointments.
* Communicate with participants, families, and providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Confirm and reschedule appointments as needed while maintaining a friendly, professional approach.
* Prepare exam rooms, manage clinic supplies, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
* Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, faxing, scanning, and maintaining documentation.
Data & Quality Support
* Collect and maintain accurate participant data and assist with quality improvement (QI) initiatives.
* Support ongoing documentation needs and help track key clinical and operational metrics.
Team Collaboration
* Participate in daily huddles and interdisciplinary team meetings.
* Contribute ideas, share insights, and help create a positive, collaborative work environment.
* Support learning opportunities for staff and teammates.
Other Responsibilities
* Occasionally assist in the Day Center or during participant home visits.

What You'll Need:
Education & Experience
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Experience in a medical office, clinic, homecare, or community-based field setting strongly preferred.

* Active Medical Assistant certification or license in the State of Michigan.
* Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) required.
