Conducts and completes personal and belonging search following guidelines of procedure with accurate documentation, labeling of belongings, and indicated distribution and storage.Accurately follows directions of licensed personnel.CPR certification.MOAB/CPI certification. Qualifications Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited college/university. Skills and Abilities: 1) Ability to communicate effectively with others, 2) Knowledge of psychiatric illnesses as well as the impact said illnesses have on activities of daily functioning, leisure and socialization 3) Knowledge of effective and appropriate recreational and therapeutic activities for patients to engage in while hospitalized for psychiatric illnesses. Experience: One year experience preferred working with individuals in a mental health setting.

Responsible for the daily functions of patient and insurance billing/re-billing operations in order to ensure maximum cash flow, compliance with regulations for insurance billing and promoting good public relations. Responsible for patient/insurance follow up of outstanding accounts, and assisting patients, insurance companies and third parties with account inquiries. Performs other general office duties as needed and /or assigned. Must have High School diploma or GED Prefer two years of healthcare insurance experience. Strong knowledge of problem solving, management information systems, and governmental and third party billing information requirements. Knowledge of computer applications used in business (Promed, Paragon, ad MD Logic); ICD and CPT coding; organizational activities and relationships. Ability to work well under continuous stress. ability to express thought clearly and concisely. Ability to listen; read and interpret information quickly, in both written, graphic and oral form.

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The PCA participates in the orientation and training of personnel. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. BLS certification.
