The Coordinator would be responsible for following the denials and appeals process from the time the request is received to when an outcome is determined including but not limited to updating financials in the tracking software. This position would also require creating reports and presenting on denials and appeals information. This position requires frequent interaction with all levels within the organization to review and discuss denials and problem solve any areas of opportunity that are identified. This would include reviewing front-end processes to identify areas of improvement to prevent future denials from occurring. The Denials Management Coordinator would also be expected to be the liaison between the hospital and auditing entities to ensure effective and efficient outcomes are achieved.
