Job DescriptionAs a Plant Manager, you will oversee daily plant operations to ensure that production runs efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company standards. You will guide teams, manage manufacturing processes, and ensure that equipment, resources, and workflows consistently support high-quality output and strong operational performance. Collaborate across facility teams on production planning, materials processing, maintenance, and other plant activities to support seamless operations.
Develop and train Shift Supervisors, strengthening long-term plant capability and ensuring consistent adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
Communicate shift performance and address issues related to safety, quality, equipment efficiency, personnel performance, schedule adherence, and material usage.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum 5-7 years of operations experience in leadership roles in consumer-packaged goods and/or food manufacturing required.
Technical knowledge of processing and packaging is an asset.
Demonstrated track record of building and leading high functioning teams.
Strong knowledge and experience in all the following areas: Occupational Health & Safety, People Leadership, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Assurance.
Ability to set direction through business acumen, strategic agility and deal with ambiguity.
Knowledge of operating systems CMMS, ERP and MES.
