Job Summary: The Manager, Operations Partner is responsible for driving operational excellence and performance across franchise organizations within a designated market. Acting as the primary business consultant and operations expert for franchisees, this role collaborates with franchise leadership teams to optimize operational performance, enhance guest experience, and uphold brand standards. The Operations Partner provides strategic support, ensuring that each restaurant achieves company objectives and meets operational standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Partner with franchisees to assess and improve operational performance, developing short- and long-term plans to drive profitability and efficiency.
Conduct comprehensive business reviews for franchisees, addressing key areas such as operations, sales, profitability, financial health, and development obligations.

Ensure franchisee adherence to brand standards, including food safety, cleanliness, and maintenance, advising on improvements as needed.

Implement and oversee corrective action plans for franchisees to resolve any issues identified in operational assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Development, Technology) to support franchisees in implementing new initiatives, product launches, and process improvements.
Provide coaching and targeted training to restaurant teams, focusing on leadership development and operational skills.
Onboard new franchisees and assist with expansion site preparation, ensuring alignment with brand expectations and operational readiness.
Utilize data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Average Complaint Ratio (ACR), Speed of Service (SOS), and Overall Guest Satisfaction (OSAT), developing insights to inform decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing data-driven action plans tailored to each franchise's unique operational needs.
Regularly review and discuss performance metrics with franchisees to identify areas for growth and develop strategies to achieve desired results.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field required.
5+ years of experience in operations, preferably in multi-unit management within QSR, retail, or a similar industry.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong business and financial acumen with a proven ability to analyze, interpret, and improve financial and operational metrics.
Skilled in root-cause problem-solving methodologies and able to apply these in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with franchisees and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with data analytics tools is an asset.

Design seasonal stock inventory strategies in collaboration with each part of the supply chain to ensure shelf availability

Conduct product segmentation to ensure shelf availability and correct replenishment strategies
Lead root cause analysis and lead improvement teams with continuous improvement tools and mindset
Support finance in developing latest estimates and 3-year plan for assigned portfolios
Partner with the HUSA Customer Support Managers to review stock levels and determine weekly order strategy
Lead monthly supply review meetings in the S&OP cycle to review performance KPI's, deployments and escalations with assigned breweries and local cross functional team
Track forecast accuracy and report against targeted levels
Create reports illustrating current forecasts and past forecast performance

Oversee all spend activity and purchase requests for category and determine proper action plan for all purchases that meet the Supply Chain involvement threshold.
Solicit price bids and proposals from qualified registered suppliers. Conduct comparison analysis of all bids against provided scope of work for contracted and non-contracted services.
Administer/manage contracted and non-contracted services to ensure that all contractual requirements are met by both the supplier and the organization. Ensure prices and expiration dates are accurately reflected on service POs.
Monitor actual usage of contracted service (ie agreed number of visits per year on specific vessel). Evaluate and confirm usage estimates on service POs with department heads.
Provide category related subject matter expertise when necessary.
Effectively work with functional and business groups as a trusted advisor to determine desired product/service specifications and projected demand when making recommended action plans.
Develop Strategic Supplier Relationship Management programs.
Collaborate with Spend Analysis & Reporting Team to conduct analysis for category improvement opportunities (e.g., market research) and to implement non-sourcing category projects (e.g., demand management).
Support Sourcing Specialists to lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic sourcing projects for category areas.
Ensure that NCLH has good supply market understanding and works with the business/function teams to provide input for creating innovative win-win customer and supplier strategies.
Proactively identify improvement opportunities for Beverage related products and recommend key actions to the appropriate stakeholders.
Conduct testing as per NCLH's standard operating process.
Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships for key suppliers across multiple business divisions.

QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business, MBA or any equivalent combinations of relevant education and work experience.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience, performance measurement, contract negotiation, project management, category management, business analysis, or change management experience.
2+ years of category or industry specific experience. Cruise line and Duty-Free knowledge a plus.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
Working knowledge of an automated logistics and purchasing system is required, preferably with MXP and SAP.
Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology with pragmatism to manage exceptions.
Ability to develop category and sourcing strategies by identifying areas of opportunity.
Track record of effectively directing and leveraging procurement spend by leading global cross-functional teams.
