A LOT of opportunity for growth. You are thrown into the deep end a lot and learn to swim. As such you are trusted to work autonomously. This was invaluable and I believe it added 2 or 3 additional years to my experience level.
Toxic culture under the guise of a "peaceable kingdom." Patriarchal culture, misogynistic practices, outdated schools of thought in a lot of ways. Work/life balance could be atrocious. Lots of lip service to that point but not much follow through.
Loose culture, could be "yourself" to a degree, I worked for a smaller subsidiary, so I was protected a bit from the more nefarious parts of the company culture.
