The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Production Assistant (Truck Driver) to complete driving routes for pickup and/or drop off of donations at the warehouse, assigned donation boxes, and at donor homes.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the security and safe operation of the vehicle and other assigned equipment. Promptly report, to immediate supervisor, all accidents involving truck, personal injury, or property damage and complete all necessary paperwork.
Perform daily walk around inspection of vehicle, checking air, water, oil and other items to maintain equipment in good operating condition. Report any problems immediately to the supervisor.
Ensure truck cab and box are clean and personal items are removed daily.
Plan daily routing based on pick-ups assigned and make all calls scheduled, including boxes.
Responsible for developing of assigned route, including bagging or carding on both sides and across the street of each pick-up, as instructed.

You are therefore to ensure that all customers are treated courteously, donations are accepted or refused appropriately, and the “
Manual for Production Assistants
” is strictly followed. Any problem in pickups should be reported immediately to the dispatcher.
Required to maintain a professional appearance in compliance with company dress code.
Maintain complete and accurate records, i.e., delivery manifests, trip log, Green Sheet, etc. Strict adherence to communication procedure and 10 codes
Responsible for loading and unloading of truck assigned and others as requested. Take proper care to secure and safely handle goods and materials during loading and unloading. Blankets, ropes, etc., are to be used to:
Avoid excessive movement of material during transit.
Avoid breakage, scratching, or other damage.
Make optimum use of available space.
Provide assistance to Thrift Store personnel when delivering items to ensure proper placement and location within the store (i.e. hampers to processing area, furniture placed properly on sales floor, removal of trash, etc.).
Instruct and supervise Truck Helper. Keep in mind that the Truck Helper is in a rehabilitation program and that good habits are taught by example as well as instruction.
This position will support the work therapy program component of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers by providing to beneficiaries; an example of professional conduct, work habits, and supervision (as directed by Supervisor).
Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Administrator.
Qualifications
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Valid driver's license for assigned vehicles and acceptable DMV record. Must pass driving test.
Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
Must be able to read maps and plan and prioritize daily route coverage.
Must be able to use Ipad with GPS, texting and truck inspection report.
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Medical card required depending on city and/or state requirement.
Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job, and failure to do so could result in immediate termination of employment.

As a QC Lab Technologist II you will perform advanced manufacturing, processing and test procedures on blood products, and will interpret test results before releasing blood to area hospitals. You will manufacture and prepare pathogen reduced platelet products for hospital patient use, in a highly regulated environment. Bachelor's degree in an applied science is required (Associate degree in science with an MLT may be considered in areas that do not have licensure requirements)
Minimum 5 years of related experience in a regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and related experience required for non-MLT/MT staff. Must meet state and CLIA requirements.
Ability to use a wide variety of lab or medical equipment, personal computer and applicable software for sustained periods.

Serve as Co-Treasurer of CGMB, in collaboration with the Treasurer of the Division of Overseas Ministries (DOM), Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), in the development of common budgets and the presentation and interpretation of financial reports for the CGMB.
Responsible for the financial reporting of the NMUCC's investments, custody and accountability of their funds and other assets, staffing support of the UCCB Investment and Finance committees as requested by the CFO or Board Chair, and such liaison tasks in the business affairs of the corporations as assigned.
Responsible for the maintenance and reporting of all restricted funds, including the allocation of investment activity to the permanently endowed funds.
Direct, oversee and assess activities of NMUCC's finances performing certain accounting functions in support of endowments, programs and other related funds and investments through the use of accounting, sales and fulfillment, and investment software and systems. Keep abreast of technological changes and keep staff up-to-date on uses of software

Teaching and Training:
Teach training seminars in subjects such as small group ministry, mercy seat training, leadership, worship, spiritual gifts, spiritual formation, and other subjects requested through the Corps Mission Strategy Process by the field.
Educate and assist Corps Officers in the development of corps leadership bodies, including, but not limited to: Senior and Junior Pastoral Care Councils.
Local Officer Training: Function as a conduit of information between THQ and local units regarding Local Officership. Provide Local Officer training through a variety of mediums, including retreats, individual consultations, corps workshops, and webinars.
Develop an annual schedule of divisional training and leadership events in conjunction with the Program Secretary and Command Leaders.
Develop promotional materials and presentations for local officer events.
Recruit and coordinate delegates for attendance of Territorial programs, including, but not limited to: LEAD, LEAD Online, Cultivate, Seminar on Holiness, and Seminar on Evangelism.
Plan and implement Soldier's Retreats, Lay leadership enrichment or training days, training or sessions during divisional events, such as Family Camp, Youth Councils, Men's and Women's Retreats. Prepare programs, budgets, flyers, briefs, visual presentations, registration forms, and packets, as well as other materials as required by the Program Secretary.
Create and plan a monthly young adult Renewal gathering to encourage fellowship, worship, prayer, and growth.
Work with Camp NEOSA and the Divisional Youth Leaders to provide training and build relationships with the Camp Staff, tracking growth and corps leadership throughout the year.
Work with the Youth Department to identify, recruit, develop, and resource young adults for leadership in the division.
Local Officer Recruitment and Processing:
Educate Corps Officers, Pastoral Care Councils, Corps Councils, and the divisional soldiers about the importance, benefits, and process of making local officers.
Help Corps Officer to identify potential leaders and connect them with a ministry role that exercises their spiritual gifts and aligns with their abilities.
Encourage LOs through renewals and long service awards. Compile and process these awards and distribute them to the corps.
Responsible for streamlining the Local Officer Commission application process by reviewing applications, obtaining signatures, contacting the appropriate departments, creating certificates, and providing them to the Corps for presentation, in accordance with the Orders & Regulations.
Coordinate with the Divisional Volunteer Coordinator, ensuring that all applicants are KeepSAfe and state law compliant.
Corps Management Database (CMD):
Responsible for the oversight and management of the Corps Management Database. This is the management system for Corps to record personal information for all individuals affiliated with a local Corps. It is a tool used for managing memberships, tracking individuals, programs, and statistics.
Provide training and implementation of CMD to the field officers/employees in the CMD, as consistent use will be required. Provide training materials for filing, recording, and reporting purposes, as needed.
Program Office/Admin Support:
Assist in all aspects of Family Camp planning as directed by the Program Secretary
Be familiar with and use Mission Insite, providing demographic ministry reports and materials to DHQ and the Corps. Assist with giving ministry development ideas as needed, based on the document results.
Create and maintain files and records (Crops, forms, councils, seminars, program grants (Divisional and Territorial), Corps Council rosters and minutes, general and permanent files). Must be able to retrieve documents.
Assist the Program Secretary with the Corps Mission Strategy and the Annual Command Review process and preparation.
Attend Program Department Meetings.

Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in ministry, Education, Leadership Development, or 3 years of experience in a related field. Further knowledge in ministry-related fields, experience in Bible Study methods, program planning, and worship helps/leading.
Uniform-wearing Salvationist in good standing
Possess a valid driver's license.
