Must be able to respond 24/7 to human trafficking emergencies. FUNCTION: This position is responsible for providing long-term comprehensive case management, and occasional rotating 24 hour emergency response and crisis intervention. Responsibilities DUTIES: Support provision of emergency response and long term comprehensive care for domestic and LPR victims of sex and labor trafficking identified in by law enforcement, as a part of the court programming with juvenile and adult court justice systems, through social service or health providers, and other identified victims. Providing rotating 24 hour emergency response (after hours and weekend shift coverage approximately once a month) and comprehensive case management. Assessment immediate needs. Coordination with the Child Advocacy Center, law enforcement, Child Welfare, Juvenile Court, Off the Streets, Municipal Court, Probation Services and other systems and organizations to support the victim in leaving the trafficking situation and receiving needed services. Utilization of Salvation Army and other resources to ensure that the victim's immediate needs are met, including safe temporary housing, clothing, food, medical care and mental health care. Provision of shelter-based/home-based case management to help the client achieve the goals outlined in the service plan. Responsibilities Program Activities: Responsible for encouraging and aiding in the spiritual growth of youth and young adults for The Salvation Army Supervise and coordinate Sunday Youth Activities including: Sunday School, Junior Soldiers, Corps Cadets, Junior Church and any new initiatives. Conduct Leaders/volunteer meetings as needed to coordinate program activities and maintain balanced programming for young people. Follow up on absentees within the corps. Maintain statistical records and any reports for all activity conducted. Responsible for attempting to link program individuals with corps activities and worship functions. Oversee special Social Service ministries that could be used to link people to corps programs (i.e. Project Bundle Up, Sheetz Family Christmas, Christmas Assistance Programs, etc.) Attend and participate in Corps Worship and Evangelistic meetings. Attend and participate in the corps council providing routine reports and updates Practical responsibilities: Make certain that all Salvation Army owned/rented property and equipment is maintained and kept in good order seeing that areas are kept neat, clear of clutter and clean. Meet with corps officers at least once each week to update them on progress being made in program development and to alert them to any challenges that may require their assistance. Maintain good Salvation Army public relations within the community. Promote programs and provide any needed education on Salvation Army functions and services. Be diligent in protecting and promoting good Salvation Army image in the community. Be responsible for facility and equipment security making sure that buildings are properly locked and equipment stored under lock and key. Responsible for safety and well being of participants in programs and will not leave any minors unsupervised at any time. Oversee the after school program maintaining good records, recruiting volunteers, and building relationships with the youth. Office Responsibilities: Maintain proper receipts and accounting procedures for any Salvation Army expenses as required by The Salvation Army accounting guides. Maintain proper statistics for all activities and human services provided. Provide written reports as needed. Keep regular office hours for preparation of programs and activities. SK2 is a program for our community. We have 80 students in our program that are from various cultural and social economic backgrounds. The Classroom Leader will implement the program and schedule that the Education Programing Specialist has created for the semester for their classroom.
