Responsibilities
Under the direction and supervision of the Wellness Dept Managers, the Wellness Attendant will assist in aquatics/fitness/gymnasium, and member services, enforcing department rules, including but not limited to assuring that minors are properly accompanied by guardians and that only those eligible use the facility. The WA takes a lead role in addressing violations to department policies in a respectful, professional manner and promptly reports issues, concerns and questions to the Member Services, Aquatics and Fitness Managers as appropriate for follow-up action.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or enrolled in a program designed to result in such achievement required. Current CPR/AED preferred. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Must have ability to work and relate well with people.
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation

The Kitchen worker also is assigned to mop, remove trash, counter cleaning, and dish washing. The Kitchen Worker also participates in the routine unloading of delivery trucks and storing of food and maintaining the cleanliness of all storage areas. Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a food safety certification recognized by the National Restaurant Association within 90 days of hire.

Position Overview:

* Prior Experience with homeless, drug, alcohol and low-income individuals and families.

Responsibilities
Description of Position: The Director of Emergency Housing (DEH) oversees the management of the Red Shield Family Residence (RSFR) and Eliza Shirley House (ESH), both 24/7 trauma-informed emergency housing programs, including ensuring healthy and safe operations in compliance with all federal, state, and local mandates, as well as necessary funding requirements. The DEH is responsible for all aspects of the program, including direct supervision of both Assistant Directors, the supervision of after hours, provision of clinical supervision to all Case Managers at RSFR and ESH, staff development, personnel administration, and all reporting requirements needed for program renewal and grant writing. The DEH communicates with corporations, funding sources, organizations, government agencies, community, and church groups at a variety of organizational levels to further the outreach of mission of The Salvation Army and its shelter ministry.
