POSITION SUMMARY: The AV Technician Assistant will aid the AV Technician in all things Audio Visual with some Multi-media needs, general set-up, break-down, errands, Sunday church services, rental events, internal events, ministry functions, and the various departments of the Kroc Center Hawaii.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be 18 years old or older.
2. Hight school diploma or GED required.
3. Computer proficient.
4. At least two years of Audio/Visual experience are required.
5. Strong organizational, time management, customer service and communication skills.
6. Experience with current software applications and operating systems.
7. Flexibility in work schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Proven experience with The Salvation Army Christmas programs.
8. Able to physically set up/break down tables, chairs, equipment.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Driver's License with clearance to drive TSA vehicles
REQUIRED HOURS:
* Sundays 6:00am - 12:00pm
* Tuesdays 1:00pm - 5:00pm
* Thursdays 6:00pm - 9:00pm
* These hours will be on rotation with the AV Technician.
* Hours may vary depending on needs of functions and/or events.
* Must also be available to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Assist the AV tech with multimedia duties.
* Assist with technical support with digital systems including audio, lighting, and video.
* Assist with set-up and break-down for all scheduled events. Move equipment, tables, chairs, etc. as directed.
* Assist with stocking, preparing and making available of equipment prior to event(s).
* Assist with troubleshooting AV technical difficulties (i.e. sound systems, lighting controls, projectors, laptops, video screens, etc.) for various Kroc Center Hawaii functions.
* Must be willing to gain increased knowledge necessary to set and operate sound system, lighting console, and video in the Performing Arts Center and with all other systems being used at the Kroc Center Hawaii.
* Assist with training Kroc church members to provide AV support for Sunday church services.
* Adhere to copyright law.
* Attend required staff meetings and other administrative meetings.
* Assist with maintaining proper operation, maintenance, repair of AV equipment, coordinate storage organization and check out procedures to other Kroc Center Hawaii staff.
* Assist with keeping a guarded inventory control of all AV and Multimedia equipment.
* Maintain a safe working environment: report all potential safety issues with facilities to the proper supervisor.
* Follow and ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.
* Maintain the Code of Ethics policy, which has been established for the Kroc Center Hawaii.
* Maintain regular and punctual work attendance.

* Assist in the Christmas Campaign, and other special fundraising or program events during the Christmas Season.

Extensive travel is possible, including air travel, driving long distances, night driving, overnight travel, and extended travel of three days or more.

Job Summary:
The Divisional Statistician and Program Support will be responsible for collecting and review of all statistical information from HIPAC corps and programs. This position will also provide program support to the Divisional Secretary for Program as necessary, promoting the Salvation Army's work of soul winning, increased effectiveness of operation and development of areas of ministry across the division.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Prior experience with training presentations to adults.
* Knowledge of and experience with web and software-based data entry programs.
* Familiarity with The Salvation Army's policies and procedures would be preferred.
* A valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
* Must be willing to travel.
Essential Qualifications:
* AA Degree or two years' experience in administrative work.
* Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Must work well with others.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of The Salvation Army mission, philosophy, culture, protocol, and organizational structure.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while keeping attention to detail.
* Advanced proficiency in data entry and analysis.
Essential Functions:
Statistician:
* Ensure the timely and accurate submission of statistical data from Corps and Units. Review all submissions for completion and accuracy. Request clarification as necessary.
* Ensure timely closing of stats for the Division each month.
* Prepare regular reports for DHQ staff officers and program directors.
* Prepare quarterly statistical comparisons of each Corps/Unit to review.
* Develop an in-depth understanding of NSS, Corps Management System, TSAMM Angel Tree and WellSky software to assist and train field personnel in their use.
* Analyze corps and unit data for trends and accuracy of data entry.
* Prepare reports and materials for Divisional Review and Corps Program Reviews.
* Prepare year-end reports as requested from Territorial Headquarters.
* Act as a resource and guide to unit statisticians within the Division.
* Complete special projects as assigned by Staff Officers.
Program Support:
* Attend & provide support to DHQ events such as Women's Camp and Family Camp.
* Thanksgiving- provide support in preparation leading up to and including the day of activities as assigned by DSP.
Creative Leadership for Divisional Events:
* Take the lead in conceptualizing and developing creative themes, branding, and visual elements for Divisional Events coordinated by the Program Department.
* Collaborating with DSP to design and produce event materials (e.g., signage, programs, multimedia presentations, promotional content) that align with event goals and divisional standards.
* Oversee the creative planning process from ideation to implementation, ensuring all creative assets are delivered on schedule and within budget.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for creative aspects of divisional events, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
* Provide guidance and support to corps/program staff in adapting divisional event creatives for local use when appropriate.
* Ensure consistency of visual identity, messaging, and overall attendee experience across all divisional program events.
* Attend DHQ and THQ events when requested.
Other Functions:
* Attend all scheduled staff and other administrative meetings
* Attend regular meetings with the Divisional Secretary for Program (DSP) to discuss related areas of ministry.
* Maintain regular and punctual work attendance
* Perform other duties as assigned

POSITION SUMMARY: The Music Instructor will provide private and/or group instruction for students of all ages and levels in support of the Kroc Center Hawaii Creative Arts & Education department's mission to provide quality educational programs and training in the arts while pointing students to Jesus.
The Music Instructor will have a deep commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army, which will be evident in his or her professional life and the manner in which he or she represents The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in the community.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in music or related degree, or equivalent teaching experience.
* At least two years' experience teaching music.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work and interact with a diverse group of people in a positive and productive manner.
* Demonstrated classroom management skills.
Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be accepted.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Prep all necessary syllabi, homework, and lesson plans, tailored to everyone, group or program.
* Selects appropriate music, books and instructional aides to enhance learning; communicates program supply needs to Creative Arts & Education Manager
* Teach all scheduled music lessons for each individual, group or program, beginning and ending on time. Classes will be taught in-person or virtually.
* Display interest, dedication, and enthusiasm for improving the community through music education.
* Evaluate each student's musical growth, performance, and musical understanding. Provide corrective and positive feedback to ensure learning.
* Assists with the planning and coordination of end-of-the-session events and special performances; evaluates student and group skill level for performance readiness.
* Be present for and assist during end-of-session events and special performances.
* Maintain student attendance records and other required records.
* Answer questions and interact with students, parents, volunteers and staff, displaying positive and proactive attitudes, behaviors and language.
* Greet, introduce and welcome participants. Acquaint new students with class procedures.
* Maintain consistent communication with parents and students including but not limited to scheduling, programming changes, and upcoming performances.
* Upholds care and responsibility for program owned instruments, music, and equipment to prevent loss or abuse. Makes minor adjustments and requests repairs to instruments as needed.
* Able to work independently with minimal oversight.
* Maintain regular and punctual work attendance.
* Assume a schedule of flexible working hours, including weekends, holidays and evenings.
* Attend staff meetings as required.
* Follow and ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Most work at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in West Oahu. Extensive travel is possible, including air travel, driving long distances, night driving, and extended travel of three days or more.
