The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Oregon State Hospital (OSH) Environmental Services Department is recruiting for Limited Duration(17 months) Custodians. As part of the team, these positions provide a clean, healthy and therapeutic environment for the patients and staff by meeting agency cleanliness standards. As a Custodian, you will perform some of the following duties:
Clean and disinfect all substances, spills and/or accidents.
Pick-up and deliver bio-hazard waste and sharps to designated secure storage area.
Disinfect patient wards when infectious disease outbreaks occur.
Sweep, dust, mop, and/or buff hard surfaces.
Vacuum and spot clean carpets and remove trash.
Scrub, rinse and refinish floors; clean, shampoo and extract carpets and upholstered furniture.
Clean and maintain custodial equipment.
Prep floors and walls for remodel and/or renovation projects.
Oregon State Hospital (OSH) Custodian positions receive a 10% pay differential above their base rate of pay.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum 6 months of custodial experience that included operating equipment needed to perform custodial duties.
Ability to push/pull heavy custodial equipment (and lift up to 50 pounds), crouch, stoop, bend, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time (90% of work shift).

A Balancing Act: Navigate the needs of the child and the family while balancing legal requirements.
Assessment and Interviews: Conduct assessment and fact-finding interviews related to child safety, risk of abuse, neglect or harm. You will also address necessary care and needs levels of the children and families.
Decision-Making: Analyzing collected information, you will determine appropriate child placement, considering each family's unique circumstances.
Communication: You will create reports, case notes, testify in court, and communicate with diverse populations in office, community, or legal settings.

You will serve as liaison for the Civil/Small Claims/Landlord Tenant Unit with judges, court administrative staff, attorneys, litigants, and other governmental agencies for the purpose of explaining and interpreting policies, procedures, and actions and to authorize or take further action on the most difficult or complex matters.

GLC2 Qualifications:
You must possess a high school diploma, GED certificate, or other proof of education at the same or higher level; AND
Six months full-time experience observing, evaluating, developing, and monitoring human behavior and performance; OR

About the Job - Your Role
As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you will administer medications, maintain medication administration records, process medication orders, assist in medication room and clinic operations, and provide direct basic care under the supervision of a Licensed Nurse. CMA's will be an integral part of the Medical Services Team providing direct patient care in a correctional environment.
Duties
Administer oral, sublingual, and buccal medications. Administer eye medications with the exception of eye medications to new post-operative eye clients. Administer ear, nasal, rectal and vaginal medications. Apply skin ointments and topical medications including patches and transdermal medications. Administer medications by gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes, premeasured medication delivered by Aerosol/Nebulizer and medications delivered by metered hand-held inhalers. Administer PRN Medications, including controlled substances, to stable clients according to physician's or nurse practitioner's orders in response to specific client requests. Administer regularly scheduled controlled substances. Jointly witness wasted controlled substances with a licensed nurse. Count controlled substances with a licensed nurse or another CMA. Under general supervision of a licensed professional, review stock on hand and initiate orders from medical stores/pharmacy for supplies as needed, receive supplies, noting and initiating corrective actions for wrong items or amounts received, and maintain inventory system. Maintain logs and documentation records of pharmaceuticals. Maintain dispensing records and medical records. Produce and maintain MAR's, physician orders, and files as needed.
Perform capillary blood glucose testing (CBG). Turn oxygen on and off at predetermined, established flow rate. Add fluid to established jejunostomy or gastrostomy tube feedings and change established tube feeding bags. Accept and transcribe verbal or telephone orders for medications from a licensed health care professional who is authorized to independently diagnose and treat.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADL's) such as hygiene, housekeeping, basic grooming, basic daily needs to promote functional independence. Assist with nutrition, hydration, elimination, personal care, positioning devices and restraints and restorative care. Observe and report changes of condition to a licensed nurse.
This position is represented by American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). This position may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.

Working Conditions
Work is performed at an adult correctional facility. Interaction with adults in custody occurs daily. Must be able to work any of all the seven days of the week, including but not limited to, Saturdays and Sunday, and work any shift of the day. Routine, continual direct contact with convicted felons is required. There is an inherent responsibility to support correctional security staff during periods of inmate unrest. You will be subject to callback in the event of an emergency or work stoppage and subject to assignment in any area of the institution. Possible encounters with abusive and/or hostile adults in custody pose the risk of physical injury. Frequent long hours. Walking and standing for long periods; climbing and descending stairs (with or without medical equipment); may require response to “man down” calls; lifting /carrying 50lbs+; kneeling, stooping and occasional gripping, reaching, bending and twisting motions. Some travel between institution and administrative offices. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Exposure to chemicals, radiation, communicable diseases, or other hazards inherent in a health care and correctional setting.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is the primary regulatory agency of the government of the U.S. State of Oregon responsible for protecting and enhancing the state's natural resources.
These positions will be joining an innovative and multi-faceted team in DEQ's Office of Greenhouse Gas Programs. The Office is responsible for leading the agency's efforts to develop and implement statewide climate programs to reduce Oregon's greenhouse gas emissions. This includes programs that collect data on Oregon's greenhouse emissions and reduces the greenhouse gas intensity of Oregon's transportation fuels. The Office of Greenhouse Gas Programs also analyzes various climate policies as they are proposed by policymakers.
The Climate Protection Program is another part of the Office of Greenhouse Gas Programs, which places a mandatory cap or limit on greenhouse gas emissions in multiple sectors across Oregon. The program is designed and implemented by a team of staff handling all facets of the program, including the declining emission cap on fossil fuel suppliers and certain trade exposed manufacturing facilities. This position is a part of the Climate Protection Program team.

What you will do!
You will serve as a project manager for the regulation of manufacturing facilities that operate in emissions-intensive trade-exposed (EITE) industrial sectors. These sectors include paper and pulp mills, semiconductor manufacturers, iron and steel mills, chemical manufacturers, and concrete manufacturers. You will work with other technical staff within the Climate Protection section, other teams in the Office of Greenhouse Gas Programs, and relevant staff in DEQ's regional offices to develop and implement regulations for these manufacturing facilities. You will collect and review detailed information on these facilities to assess emission reduction equipment, processes, strategies, and technologies. You will review facility process flow diagrams, production practices, control devices, pollution reduction activities, and associated engineering documents. You will research and analyze emission reduction options within similar industrial sectors to identify and evaluate potential options to reduce these emissions in Oregon. You will track and evaluate program implementation and develop guidance and communication materials for regulated facilities and interested parties.

Must possess an unencumbered license to practice medicine, with board certification in psychiatry in the State of Oregon. Subspecialty certification in forensic psychiatry is preferred.

A day in the life:

The Fourth Judicial District is the largest in Oregon. Four Information Technology (IT) departments make up the Multnomah County Circuit Court IT division and support the work of the circuit court: Technical Infrastructure and Specialized Services, Applications Training and Data Analysis, Desktop Support and Help Desk, and IT Design & Development.
This position is part of the IT Design & Development department. The department identifies and guides court process improvements through automation. With expertise in custom web development, SharePoint administration, database design, data transfers, systems integrations, and data collection, reporting, and visualization, this team designs, implements, and maintains core technology solutions.
Position Highlights
We are hiring an Application Developer (Information Technology Specialist).
Your role will be to provide the highest tier of technical support for Multnomah County Circuit Court custom applications, which includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the court's automated processes. Your teammates will rely on you to query databases and build reports. The position requires a commitment to understanding the business needs that drive custom development and working within technical requirements to translate those needs into program features. Proposed technological solutions must be sustainable, and the complex ideas driving those solutions need to be communicated in an understandable way. You will anticipate impacts on the organization and communicate in advance with those who are impacted. You are expected to independently manage the complete project life cycle on all assigned tasks. Preparing written documentation, analysis, and technical recommendations will be an important part of your job.
You will work as part of a development team, prioritizing projects together, and cross-training to back each other up. You will also routinely work with others outside the development team, mentoring other IT teammates and collaborating with nontechnical project team members. You will work with court staff and judges, IT specialists, public and private sector agencies, and members of the public.
This position utilizes a variety of software development tools including, but not limited to, Open-Source Libraries, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SharePoint, PowerShell, Microsoft IIS, and Microsoft SQL. Programming languages may include SQL, PHP, Javascript, and C#.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, and the typical work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. This position is FLSA-exempt and ineligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek.
Occasional after-hours work may be required.
Travel to other Multnomah court facilities and to OJD's offices in Salem will be required for meetings and training events.

Parking
Multnomah County Circuit Court does not provide parking for the central courthouse or justice center staff. Daily parking is available across SW 1st St from the central courthouse (monthly parking is limited). Another option is the Douglas Garage at 1835 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97204. Parking cost is $165/month and is a half-mile from the courthouse and justice center.

About the Job - Your Role

Minimum Qualifications
