Job Description:
As a Home Health CertifiedNursingAssistant (CNA) at Sunshine Home Health, you will be an integral part of our home healthcare team. You will play a crucial role in delivering high quality, personalized care to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by their healthcare team.
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in clients' conditions.
Assist with meal preparation and nutritional support; ensuring clients' dietary needs are met.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Qualifications:
CertifiedNursingAssistant (CNA) certification.
Previous experience in home healthcare or long-term care is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Compassion and empathy for clients and their families.
Ability to follow care plans and work as part of a healthcare team.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.

The Home Health and Hospice Aide provides personal care, home hygiene services and other supportive services to persons who are receiving Hospice care at home. All such services will be provided in accordance with a comprehensive patient care plan and under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications

Current CPR and CertifiedNursingAssistant license.

Able to recognize emergencies and the knowledge of emergency procedures and their application; compliance with Alpha emergency policy and procedures .
Working understanding of patients'
Working understanding of safe and appropriate techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming (e.g. bed bath; sponge, tub, and shower bath; hair shampoo (sink, tub, and bed); nail and skin care; oral hygiene; toileting and elimination.
Demonstrated skill performing safe transfer techniques and ambulation.
Demonstrated skill performing normal range of motion and positioning.
Understanding of adequate nutrition and fluid intake.
Any other task that Alpha or CM may choose to have an aide perform; Alpha will train HHAs, as needed, for skills not covered in the basic checklist.
Maintain up-to-date patient records within 48-hrs through web-based; chart initial visits and each visit thereafter.
Attend a minimum of twelve (12) hours of continuing education programs.
Provide feedback to the CM regarding changes in patient's physical, social, or psychological condition.
Must be able to stoop and bend, lift and carry at least 25 pounds, and push a wheelchair.
Must show considerable initiative, judgment, and organizational skills to work independently in an unsupervised environment.

JOB TITLE: Patient Care Technician
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Patient Care Technician (PCT), under the supervision of a registered nurse, performs a variety of routine and delegated patient care services.
