co workers/associates are incredibly nice
management and corporate are out of touch with associates and running the store in general
the friendliness of assocaites and some customers, 10% off purchases
Networking outside of organization
No individual freedom
None
It used to be like a family away from home, it's no longer
The managers can't keep anything communication after 2 years mine still couldn't remember my availability. They play favorites, they lie, they disregard employees disabilities. No one does their job, it just trickles down the line. The store is so filthy I made it all the way home stuck with a giant dust bunny stuck in my shoe. No one communicates, so everyone is taught differently. They are a hot mess. Worst place I've ever worked
I had none
great management team, helpful coworkers and the hardwork we do to satisfy our customers.
The 20% off weekends, in store purchases.
The atmosphere is harsh, management is not supportive to staff.
Additional days off is nice, after doing long application upgrades an additional day off would be rewarded pending approval of your VP.
The culture and adversity of the staff. Being part of a winning team.
Hours worked for home/work life balance
Influencing associates to grow and take care of on more imitative in the business.
Good coworkers and flexible
Poor pay, and management. Not enough opportunity to grow
The flexibility
The management really tries to work hard for you to move up in the company.
The pay is horrible and hardly increases as compared to the expectations.
Retirement Plan
Great people to work with.
Don't really have much of a life outside of work. Schedule constantly changes, not paid enough, and too much responsibility for my position. I'm doing everything a manager is supposed to do and don't get paid extra for it.
20% associate weekends are a great deal and you get to use it at all of the stores.
coworkers
managers, having to pressure a credit card
i get along with everyone
Not stressful, flexible hours
The hours of retail
Light atmosphere, laid back management.
Very team focused, cares about employees
Very corporate obviously and can take awhile to move up the chain
Great healthcare, lots of PTO
the management and co workers
Asking for credit maybe a bit annoying sometimes
I was a part-time while still going to college. Flexible schedual
Incredibly supportive and understanding management team/culture
Large company has its benefits, but also its red tape and layers of decision making
Gorgeous campus, on site cafeteria and gym
The Associates. The people there are more than just coworkers. I view some as brothers and sisters. There are others that serve as a motherly figure, people that are the kind voice in a place that can become hectic. These are the people that make going to work worth it, despite a bust day or not.
On any given day, the store can be busy or not. Obviously on the weekends it becomes that however that is stressful. Seeing customers ruin an area I just cleaned is infuriating. Seeing parents allowing their children to run amok in the store with no care at all, is hair pulling annoying. And some managers, once or another coworker puts in a new schedule because of school, these managers have this type of reaction that seems like they are offended by the new schedule. They must realize that school for a handful of us is way more important l.
Even though some managers do have this type of annoyance at a new schedule they are flexible to allow new availability. They do accept all associates new availability with little to no resistance. Ever since I started to work, because of their flexibility l, I have not been over stretched in balancing work and school.
