The Toledo Clinic company history timeline
Since our founding in 1926, this unique collaboration has allowed us to provide state-of-the-art healthcare, grow to 62 locations and still retain a good old-fashioned community doctor feel.
Three surgeons – Doctor William A. Neill, Doctor James Magoun, and Doctor Kinsey Renshaw – came together in 1926 to form the nucleus of what was to become The Toledo Clinic.
In July of 1969, ground was broken for the new building located on Secor Road.
By 1969, the medical staff had grown to 28 doctors, and the group again began to feel the need to expand.
Slightly more than a year later on November 2, 1970, the new Toledo Clinic opened its doors to patients.
In 1984, an Outpatient Surgery Center was established.
