Job Description
Toledo Clinic's Urology Department is seeking a part-time Courier to deliver pharmacy medications. This part-time position will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-5. No weekends or holidays.
Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of pharmacy medications and medical supplies to patients' homes or other designated locations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Pick up prescriptions and/or supplies from pharmacy.
Deliver prescriptions to patient homes or designated locations
Verify patient information against prescription label before delivery.
Obtain signatures upon delivery and maintain accurate delivery logs.
Handle special delivery requirements such as temperature sensitive medications.
Interact with patients professionally and handle any patient questions or concerns.
Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and HIPAA privacy guidelines when handling patient information.
