The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. What Is the Opportunity?
The Vice President, Market Facing Operations is responsible for ensuring overall operational excellence and superior service in support of the Small Commercial/Middle Market Business Center (SC/MMBC) business and Travelers Operations strategy. This role provides strategic oversight while ensuring a deep understanding and responsiveness to customer and stakeholder needs, with a primary focus on delivering measurable results that drive business growth.
As a member of the Operations senior leadership team, the incumbent contributes strategic thought leadership and maintains execution accountability across Business Insurance and Travelers Operations. The role includes shared accountability for defining and contributing to the strategic Business Insurance Operations agenda, ensuring all initiatives deliver tangible results aligned with organizational objectives.
Leading an organization of over 600 employees across an expansive geographic footprint, this position oversees the SC/MMBC segment-a dynamic organization comprised of several distinct business units with P&L and business plan contribution responsibilities, customer and agent interaction, and complex field organizational oversight. What Will You Do?

The Rec+ Project Manager leads, drives, and owns the definition, development, and deployment of the overall Rec+ project and strategy through collaboration with key stakeholders, understanding of American Modern systems, processes and products, and analysis of data and metrics to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Purpose:
The Rec+ Project Manager leads, drives, and owns the definition, development, and deployment of the overall Rec+ project and strategy through collaboration with key stakeholders, understanding of American Modern systems, processes and products, and analysis of data and metrics to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of initiatives within the Rec+ program; develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation requests, and risk management strategies. Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle.
Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand and anticipate business needs, assess alignment to the Rec and CPD products and ensure translation into product requirements and capabilities.
Oversee all stages of product creation; design, development, delivery, and adoption. This is inclusive of hosting regular showcase events to ensure product/system is moving in the correct direction.
Translate business and associate requirements into Epics and Features (high-level business user stories) of how the system should function.
Collaborate with IT Project Managers and/or Business Analysts to break down features into technical user stories, sprint planning, and approvals.
Manage the product backlogs and prioritize based on changing requirements.
Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to keep project on track.
Provide insights and regular communication to leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and advise of progress, challenges, risks, or needed changes.
Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver iterative updates and reviews.
Analyze business processes and identity opportunities for optimization.
Participate in necessary technical meetings with IT team to provide updates, direction, and planning.
Ensure each story has the correct acceptance/success criteria and definition of complete.
Required Technical Skills:
Strong analytical skills - data, processes, risks, etc.
Strong understanding of American Modern technology, products, and processes
Strong collaboration and communication skills across the organization with key partners, IT and stakeholders. Must be able to communicate business needs, understand technical constraints, and ensure understanding across the organization.
Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. Must be able to drive the team to meet common goals and meet tight deadlines. Understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies.
Business to technical translator. Must be able to translate business requirements to technical user stories and have the ability to prioritize requirements to be implemented.

The Performance Construction Advisors (PCA) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Travelers. PCA facilitates executive peer groups which are exclusive gatherings of seven to ten CEOs where, with the assistance of a professional facilitator, non-competing leaders openly review their companies and share information in a focused effort to build breakthrough success for themselves, their families, their employees, and their customers. In addition, PCA offers consulting services that help family-owned and other closely held business owners and leaders make more money in less time with fewer headaches with a higher quality of life. Acting as a Peer Group Facilitator and Senior Consultant, the Business Consultant facilitates meetings of closely held business CEOs and executives and delivers one-on-one consulting services as assigned. The successful candidate will possess considerable business experience broadly applicable to executing PCA's peer group facilitation and one-on-one consulting programs while also having latitude to creatively address client needs.
This is a fully-Commissioned role. Employees in this role will be paid a draw of $70,000 and have the opportunity to earn the majority of their pay through commission payments.
