Job Description
• Participates in iteration planning meetings ensuring that the team has a common understanding of each story and chores in a team backlog
• Participates in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups

Strong understanding of computer science concepts, object-oriented design principles
· Hands-on experience with developing software in Java and J2EE technologies such as Spring Boot
· Experience and knowledge in developing REST APIs, database (relational, NoSQL, caching), building complex queries, implementation and optimization
· Knowledge and experience utilizing continuous integration and DevOps methodologies, preferred tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Gradle, Maven, etc.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is 85,600.00 - 152,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

About the role
The Issue Workflow team is responsible for Sentry's core debugging experience, which includes alerts, issue search, and issue details. These are the most visited pages on our product and they are critical to the daily workflow for millions of softwareengineers across the world.
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the team. You will create data‑intensive user interfaces to create a product experience that makes complex debugging feel straightforward, and ideate/build new product experiences for Sentry to interoperate with humans and AI agents.
In this role you will
Collaborate with EM, PM and Product Designer to ideate, execute, validate and iterate quickly on new features, and join customer calls to get first‑hand feedback on your work.
Build and maintain features using React (TypeScript) and Django (Python) in our open‑source codebase.
Have opportunities to work on high‑impact projects that touch the entire stack: understanding the event ingestion pipeline; delving into search and storage systems; and surfacing that data to our customers on our backend and frontend codebases (did we mention that almost all of them are open‑source?).
Work closely with AI/ML, infrastructure, and other EPD teams to ideate, design and build the next generation of Sentry.

As a Senior SoftwareEngineer, you will own and develop critical code that powers our platform, enabling retailers and consumers to move billions of dollars seamlessly through integrations with various banks. Working with technologies like Ruby on Rails and Go, you will design, build, and optimize scalable systems for high-volume financial transactions. Job Description
Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust code for our primary Ruby on Rails system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and product teams, to define, design, and ship new features that meet business requirements.
Write well-tested code using RSpec, with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and resilience (we have 95% code coverage).
Make practical decisions with good judgment when faced with design constraints and trade-offs.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback through pull requests to ensure code quality, best practices and limit breaking changes.
Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes learning and growth.
Participate in on-call rotations to support and maintain production systems, including incident response and resolution.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to become an expert in a specific technical and business domain, with proven experience in independently mastering complex systems or technologies. We value a track record of deep specialization and problem-solving in any field.
Strong command of Ruby and Rails (understanding the boundaries between them)
