Salary Range $44,100 - $51,000 per year; DOE Close Date 31-March 2023 Essential Duties Manage and implement global programs for students living on and off campus at all ASU campuses (Tempe, Downtown, Polytechnic, West) Support students, faculty and staff in navigating a wide scope of global initiatives information and processes at Barrett & ASU Collaborate with other Barrett units such as Development, Operations, Events and Social Media/PR on planning and implementation of global programs, events and activities Collaborate with ASU and external partners to execute Barrett global initiatives Participate in signature college events (Homecoming, Family Weekend, etc.) Provide regular reports and updates to the Senior Director Draft content for the website and other social media outlets to highlight global programs Produce effective outcomes within a specified budget and regular time constraints Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND five (5) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Desired Qualifications Evidence of a degree is preferred in a related field, such as international relations, political science or public policy Experience living and working in a foreign country with a university, IO, INGO or US government Experience working with high-level government officials or public figures Demonstrated knowledge of global issues, geography and history Experience with planning, implementing and promoting study abroad and international service-learning programs, including budgeting, logistics and risk management Effective critical, analytical and problem-solving skills Bilingual: English/Spanish a plus Experience with project management Evidence of effective communications skills (i.e., grammar, spelling, composition, punctuation and proofreading) Working Environment Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse (60%); frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time, walk moderate distances, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds to perform work (40%).
