The Harris School of Public Policy invites applications for a Senior Lecturer and Executive Director of MSCEP to manage and teach in a new Masters of Science Degree in Climate and Energy Policy (MSCEP).
The primary responsibilities of this position involve the management of the new MSCEP degree, which Harris is offering in partnership with the University's Institute for Climate and Sustainable Growth (ICSG), and teaching in the MSCEP and other Harris programs. The degree is designed to address the growing demand for professionals with expertise in climate policy, energy systems, and data-driven decision-making. The curriculum will prepare students to engage in policy analysis, economic evaluation, and technological assessment related to climate change, energy systems, and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities will include:
Oversee the MSCEP curriculum's evolution, refinement, and course design, in collaboration with the faculty director.
Develop and implement the degree's capstone course, which will include projects that students execute in collaboration with external partners.
Teach 4 for-credit, quarter-length courses (including sections of the capstone course), policy labs, or pedagogical equivalent per academic year. Courses may be in the MSCEP and/or other degree programs offered by the School. Courseload may be reduced in the first two years of the program, given the expected intensity of program development during these years.
Recommend for hire, supervise, and evaluate part-time Lecturers and full-time Instructional Professors who teach in the MSCEP or in other Harris courses that cover energy, climate, or environmental topics.
Assist the faculty director, and Harris and ICSG leadership, in overseeing MSCEP staff and budget, and raising external awareness.
Design and oversee the execution of extra-curricular student experiences, coordinating with Harris and ICSG staff.
Work with Harris and ICSG staff on developing and executing a strategy for career development in climate and energy.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-Completion of a graduate degree, by the appointment start date, in Economics, Business, Climate Science, Environmental Science, Law, Public Policy, Political Science, Data Science, or a closely related field.
-Experience in management of programs, personnel, and/or budgets
Preferred Qualifications
-At least two years of teaching experience as the instructor of record in courses in fields in energy, climate change, public policy, economics, political science, data science, or related fields.
-Experience or academic background in energy and climate change issues.
- PhD in Economics, Business, Climate Science, Environmental Science, Public Policy, Political Science, Data Science, or a closely related field.

Required Qualifications

Experience working in a community health setting is highly preferred.

Position Overview
The External Partnerships Manager with BDI will be responsible for developing, managing, and implementing an external partnership strategy for a growing organization that is moving into a new stage of its work. Position Summary:

Here, you will be responsible for preparing referral testing to external labs, specimen receipt and prep for all specimens collected in both inpatient & outpatient settings of all UCMC sites and UCML outreach clients. Pre-analytical technician performs manual billing tasks and manual result entry. This role serves a client service function: answering calls from clients both IP and outreach, faxing results, investigating lab issues and resolving problem orders This position also fields phone calls for the Clinical Labs as well as exception handling for lab testing and orders that do not meet submission criteria. Works collaboratively with colleagues, participates in process improvement projects. Located in Historic Hyde Park, UChicago Medicine is a not-for-profit integrated and academic health system of hospital and physician services, providing world class care since 1927. This department is in the Lab Service Laboratory. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.

This position is responsible for the provision of specimen receipt, assessment, and pre-analytical processing services, includes aspects of quality assurance for the area, including verification of missing information and activating a specimen rejection process as per written policies and procedures. May include performance of waived or moderately complex testing and urgent value reporting, includes receiving specimens and requisitions for test ordering, entering orders into laboratory computer system (Sunquest), verifying/reviewing orders, generating appropriate specimen collection labels, directing samples to appropriate laboratory sections, and responding to telephone inquiries for test results and other information such as specimen collection requirements. This position also provides microbiology specimen set-up (i.e. plating), and/or other types of advanced pre-analytical specimen processing services.
Essential Job Functions
Conducts pre-analytical specimen preparation through centrifugation, aliquotting , set-ups, pH'ing, and other types of processing as necessary prior to distribution to appropriate laboratories
Responsible for specimen integrity by following appropriate transport procedures, shipping, and packaging procedures in the case of specimens being sent out for testing
Assesses specimen integrity/quality, requisition, and specimen labeling requirements as mandated by policies and procedures
Performs microbiology set-ups and/or other advanced pre-analytical specimen processing services
Answers inquiries regarding specimen handling, test results, turnaround times, and specimen collection
Contacts patient care units and other points of specimen origination to investigate and reject samples if appropriate
Documents and performs all required maintenance procedures, continuing education, rejected specimens, quality improvement monitors, and annual compliance modules as scheduled
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum of 2-3 years; experience lab processing & specimen processing
High school diploma or equivalent
Appropriate training/experience in clinical laboratory science
Knowledge and ability to safely use laboratory and hospital information systems

This position will join our Neurocritical Care team and provide inpatient coverage for our neurocritical care service. The Center for Health Statistics (CHS) was established in 2001 by Robert D. Gibbons, Blum-Riese Professor of Statistics at the University of Chicago, to provide a statistical research environment that would lead to advances in the design and analysis of investigations in a wide variety of areas in the health sciences. The Center has quickly grown to include a faculty of 32 distinguished members covering statistical expertise in almost all areas of science. Job Summary
The Center for Health Statistics (CHS) within the Biological Sciences Division at the University of Chicago is seeking a Research Software Engineer with strong data engineering and DevOps capabilities to support research computing needs. This role centers on designing systems that link analytical methods with production environments, enabling scalable, reliable, and reproducible workflows for CHS research groups. Description
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in chest or abdominal imaging for full-time or part-time remote positions to join the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT).
Candidates ideally will integrate in the division focusing predominantly on chest imaging, including chest X-rays, oncologic chest CT studies, lung cancer screening studies. Interstitial lung disease cases are also available to candidates who have interest. Candidates may choose to focus predominantly on thoracic imaging or have a mixed practice with abdominal or multispecialty imaging.
Our department is in a growth phase currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers that compose the radiology practices of Emory Healthcare and the Grady Health System. The Division is strongly oriented toward innovation with several Artificial Intelligence tools available to support the daily practice and operation.
In collaboration with successful candidates, physician schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success. We have several template schedules within the department including a 26 weeks on 26 weeks off schedule consisting of 8am-5pm weekday shifts and 7am-4pm shifts on the weekends/holidays. This equates to 182 shifts of clinical duty per year. We have additional schedules which can involve evening work and multispecialty imaging if this is an interest for the candidate.
Candidates may decide to participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision.
State-of-the-art clinical equipment is present across the enterprise. The department has a strong commitment to faculty development and academic advancement.

* Clarify and solve problems concerning medication orders with prescribing physicians, suggest alternative medication therapies to physicians when appropriate, serve as a source of information for Investigational drug information for health professionals, identify and report adverse drug reactions.
* Assist in the orientation and training of new personnel.
* Participate in ambulatory pharmacy dispensing activities as required. Perform dispensing, counseling, and clinical services in the outpatient setting as their practice site.
Staff Pharmacist Education and Experience Requirements
* Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy.
* Doctor of Pharmacy or other advanced degree highly preferred.
* Eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Illinois (complete licensure process within 60 days of employment).
* Board Certification in area of expertise is preferred.
* Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency required.
* Clinical pharmacy experience (2-4 years) in a hospital setting preferred (required if no PGY-1 residency).
* Exceptional aptitude or knowledge may be considered in lieu of experience. Extensive clinical experience and development may be considered in lieu of formal training
* Experience in Oncology preferred

In this role you will be responsible for supporting value-based care metrics by performing telephonic medication adherence outreach to patients. The Population Health Pharmacy Technician will be an integral part of our interdisciplinary care team, responsible for assisting with activities and initiatives designed to promote appropriate, evidence-based medication utilization in a population health setting. This role specifically supports value-based care (VBC) contracts by focusing on improving patient outcomes, enhancing medication adherence, and closing gaps in care to ensure successful drug therapy outcomes and cost efficiency. The technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a defined patient population.
Job Summary
The Department of Pharmacy at UChicago Medicine is seeking highly motivated pharmacy students who desire to further develop their communication, interdisciplinary, and pharmacotherapeutic knowledge and skills. The Student Pharmacy Intern role allows an opportunity for personal growth and multidisciplinary collaboration, while supporting a team that is dedicated to enhancing lives and being at the forefront of medicine. As an intern with Meds2Beds, you will deliver medications to patient bedside and provide patient counseling prior to discharge from the hospital. This is a great opportunity for students to work in a large, academic medical center and serve a diverse patient population. Student Pharmacy Interns will gain valuable experience that will strengthen their candidacy when applying for future jobs and/or residencies.
Essential Job Functions
* Patient Outreach & Engagement: Conduct proactive telephonic or electronic outreach to patients identified as having medication-related gaps in care (e.g., non-adherence for chronic conditions like diabetes or hypertension) to assess barriers.
* Data Management & Reporting: Screen patient profiles in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and population health reports to identify high-risk patients who may benefit from clinical pharmacy intervention. Track and document all interventions, communications, and outcomes in the appropriate database to support quality metrics and reporting requirements for VBC contracts.
* Medication Access & Coordination: Assist patients in overcoming medication access barriers, including running test claims to verify insurance coverage, processing prior authorizations, and coordinating with local pharmacies and providers to ensure seamless medication delivery and pickup.
* Medication Reconciliation Support: Obtain and verify accurate patient medication histories (drug, dose, route, frequency, indications, allergies) during transitions of care (e.g., hospital discharge, new patient intake) and document this information for pharmacist review.
* Care Team Collaboration: Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and payers to reduce treatment gaps and address healthcare concerns, effectively coordinating prescribed care across multiple stakeholders.
* Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement projects and team meetings focused on enhancing population health outcomes and promoting preventive care initiatives.
Required Qualifications
