Sr Contract & Grant Admnstrtr Requisition ID req34908 Working Title Sr Contract & Grant Admnstrtr (CASAA) Position Grade 13 * THE BEST CONSIDERATION DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 11.18.2025* The Center on Alcohol, Substance Use, and Addictions (CASAA), a Category III research intensive center, which reports to The Vice President for Research, seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as a member of the Research Administration team to provide support in both pre and post award areas of research administration. The successful candidate will support CASAA investigators and researchers in collaboration with the Research Administration team, and report to the Program Operations Director. CASAA's number one priority is to reduce suffering caused by substance use and other addictive behaviors. We do this by generating high quality prevention and treatment research.
Core duties for this position will include:
* Preparation of proposals for external funding
* Development of non-technical documents of proposals, including but not limited to budgets and budget justifications ensuring both UNM's and sponsor's guidelines are met
* Development of proposal record using UNM's research administration software and sponsor portals
* Assisting in the review of funding announcements to address sponsor-required criteria
* Preparation of award extensions and continuations following sponsor guidelines
* Manage and update required investigators and researcher's sponsor documents such as bio sketches and other support
* Development of department pre and post award procedures to assist in streamlining internal processes
* Track all planned and pending grant and contract applications using tracking and project management tools.
* Serve as a liaison between the PI and the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP), as appropriate.
* Willingness to become familiar with sponsor portals and provide technical assistance as needed to investigators and researchers

Understanding molecular and genomic features of co-occurring conditions in individuals with Down syndrome.
This position is responsible for performing rigorous analysis and integration of multiple -omics datasets in collaboration with other scientists on the team. The successful candidate will have extensive computational and analytical skills and a demonstrated ability perform the tasks outlined below.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Working collaboratively with other members of the team to provide high-level, professional, and scientifically rigorous data management and bioinformatic analyses.
Developing and implementing complex analysis pipelines, programming, and data visualization techniques for multi-layered -omics datasets with a particular focus on single cell RNAseq and CyTOF analysis of peripheral and tissue-resident innate and lymphoid immune cell populations. Application of these techniques for more broad analysis of the transcriptome, metabolome, proteome, and epigenome will also be expected.
Creatively and effectively integrating data from multiple sources to accelerate discoveries.
Thinking independently and creatively to identify and implement best-practice bioinformatic and data management solutions.
Creating and disseminating tools for all team members to access relevant clinical and sample data.
Collaborating with other team members to co-author abstracts, oral and poster presentations, and scientific manuscripts.

* Act as a liaison between the Office of Research (OR), departments, faculty members of CECS/IAI/AMPAC, collaborators, and sponsors with all aspects of sponsored research proposal /administration, and negotiation of sponsored research agreements, including but not limited to grants, contracts, NDAs, and MOUs.
* Prepare multi-institutional proposals; communicate with sponsored research departments at other institutions in multi-university proposals; pay specific attention to the appropriate sponsor format of the proposals and budget.

The candidates will be sent to Neonatal Nurse Practitioner school beginning in August 2023 and will graduate with an MSN in the specialty area of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner after completing clinicals of 4-6 months within one calendar year. The Division and Program serve children and families in a 52 bed regional NICU, including transitions to home and statewide follow-up.

Job Description
The Handshake Specialist is a key member of the Nevada Career Studio team, responsible for managing and maintaining the University's Handshake job board. Compile and distribute weekly job reports; run analytics to support tracking and reporting.
Draft and send bi-monthly Handshake emails promoting job and internship opportunities to University students.

JOB TITLE:
Transit Supervisor, Demand Response
JOB PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, organize, coordinate and supervise daily SafeRide, and/or Paratransit operations, including direct oversight of personnel, safety, scheduling, and customer service.
This position has been deemed essential as addressed in the University of Wyoming's Employee Handbook. Employees in essential positions may be required to work during emergency closures and winter closure based on the nature of their job duties and the reasons for the closure.
This position involves on-call status.
This position is grant funded and considered at-will employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervise and coordinate SafeRide and/or Paratransit operators including regular evaluations of employees. Coordinate equipment resources.
* Oversee preparation of scheduling assignments for drivers.
* Participate in the selection, training, and certification of transit personnel.
* Review pre and post-trip inspection reports; coordinate maintenance and repair activities for operations, equipment and vehicles.
* Assist in developing and enforcing security, safety, and department regulations and policies.
* Respond to and investigate accidents, incidents, and complaints.
* Maintain ridership and other transit-related data and report to management as directed.
* Provide training for employees as needed.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
* May maintain inventory records; order and receive supplies and equipment.
* May assist with budget planning for area and oversee budget expenditures for designated area.
* May perform backup driving and/or dispatching duties as needed.
* Participate in committees as assigned.
* Participate in community outreach and resource fairs.

Work week for this position would be Tuesday - Saturday.
