Admission to UT is fairly competitive, particularly at the graduate level. Undergraduate students are evaluated in terms of their academic performance and test scores, among other things. At the graduate level, a certain number of students may receive financial aid in the form of assistantships or fellowships. At the undergraduate level, eligible students get loans, grants and scholarships. Tuition is also much lower for state residents since UT is a state school.

Cons of working at The University of Texas at El Paso

I might say there are not disadvantages working at UTEP, most of the things like the departments and the managers are people that might care about the others. It is a place that I might recomend for people who recently have graduated.

I like the healthy enviroment it feels wotking at UTEP, the managers and coworkers are respectuful. People working in a department try to help each other with no problem. I also like how it feels a diverse enviroment with young people.

In the way I worked as a work study student I might say my managers gave me the flexibility to make a schechule that might not interfere with my courses while I was working. Also, most of the people working at the campus feels like they have a positive attitude while working.
