Schedule: Full time (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required completion of one of the following: Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification.
Must obtain Washington State MedicalAssistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
Current healthcare provider BLS required
Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred

Pay Range:
$19.70 - $27.58

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Responsible for screening, interviewing and placement of students in each cohort. Cohorts include 65 hours of classroom/Lab and 40 hours of Clinical.
Accountable for the classroom, laboratory and clinical practicum.
Implement the required Board-approved curriculum.
Is onsite and available during 100% of the clinical teaching time.
Provide effective teaching strategies in an environment that encourage student and instructor interaction.
Accurately records students' daily attendance.
Follows and enforces Student Guidelines.
Evaluate the competency of students.
Maintains classroom in good physical order, helps to manage program supplies and keep equipment in good repair.
Enter the classroom at designated time with all necessary materials. Begins and ends class at scheduled times and follows scheduled student break times.
May delegate classroom, laboratory and clinical teaching responsibilities to a Delegated Instructor and/or a clinical teaching associate if directed to do so by the NA Program Director.
Must have sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation
Delivers course work using contemporary teaching strategies and practices
Participates in the planning and evaluation of each segment of the curriculum
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience as a preceptor, mentor, or clinical instructor strongly preferred
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.
Must have a minimum of two years' experience working in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting.
Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse

Summary:
This is a Per Diem position. The C.N.A. is responsible for the provision of hands-on care and services to meet identified resident needs. This includes coordination with other staff, implementation of the interdisciplinary service plan for each resident, reporting changes to resident condition, and documenting resident physical ability to perform self-care. The C.N.A. observes, documents, and reports all aspects of resident activities of daily living to ensure appropriate level of care and placement. The C.N.A. works under the direction of the Residential Care Coordinator and with the guidance of the RN to maintain the highest levels of physical, psychological, social, and spiritual well-being in accordance with the resident service plan and current standards of care.

Requirements
Education, Training or Certifications Required:
C.N.A. certification in good standing
Experience Required:
One or more years experience in geriatrics.
Familiarity with memory loss care
Special Requirements:
BLS within 120 days of hire date.
Basic computer skills preferred
Cognitive Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
Ability for high performance under stressful situations.
Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and follow through
Physical Demands:
Able to stand/work for most of an 8-12 hour shift.
Must be able to bend/lift 25 - 55 lbs. (assisting residents in and out of bed, etc.)
Environment:
Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, contagious diseases.
Potential for periods of high stress.
Per Diem Work Expectations:
Per diem CRMA/PSS staff are expected to maintain active employment by working a minimum of 48 hours every 90 days. To meet this requirement:
At least 24 hours must be worked on weekends
At least 8 hours must include one recognized winter holiday and one summer holiday
Remaining hours may be scheduled flexibly, including weekdays, weekends, or holidays
Per diem shifts are offered after full-time and part-time staff have been scheduled. If no shifts are available during the scheduling period, staff may be contacted for unplanned or last-minute openings. In cases where no shifts are available during the 90-day period, the hour requirement may be waived. However, if shifts are offered and declined, the 48-hour requirement remains in effect. Failure to meet this requirement may result in a 30-day notice of intent to terminate employment due to non-availability.

This is an ON CALL opportunity with a varying schedule Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 5:30pm, hours are not guaranteed. Must be available 3 days per week, willing to travel to multiple clinic locations, and available to work full time until successful completion of training.
Pay range starts at $20.09, higher based on evaluation of experience and credential. With active Washington State Department of Health MedicalAssistant-Certified credential, pay range starts at $21.71/hour and goes up based on experience. 5%

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Required completion of one of the following: current Washington State MedicalAssistant-Certified credential or combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification.
