Assists Project Managers and EHS Managers/Specialists in the coordination of subcontractor EHS protocols, including vendors and owner personnel working on company project(s). Coordinates project EHS programs with subcontractors. Assists in planning and coordinating work to eliminate hazards, minimize risks, and aggressively manage losses involving injuries or property damages. Coordinates quarterly comprehensive on-site EHS audits. Periodically inspects and evaluates the project site, equipment and processes for compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations, as well as company and owner policies and procedures. Conducts accident investigations and completes incident reporting for Project Management review. Accompanies injured employees to treatment and medical evaluation. Ensures all EHS protocols are followed. Advises Project Management on Industrial Hygiene protocols; performs Environmental Monitoring. Manages Company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy, ensuring proper testing for Pre-Employment, Vehicle Authorization, Reasonable Suspicion, Post-Accident, Random, and Follow-Up. Provides training and education to Company personnel regarding EHS requirements, including coordination of new hire EHS orientation programs. Administers the corporate SPAT process on assigned projects. Completes and provides a weekly EHS update to EHS Leadership. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification 10 years experienced preferred CSP Preferred with Heavy/Civil/Bridge experience Excellent communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, and ability to prioritize, organize and manage time Knowledge of regulations and standards as well as hazard recognition and injury management skills Some travel required Required to stand, sit, walk, and/or climb stairs or ladders Base salary range is $100,000 - $150,000 The Walsh Group, Ltd. Duties involve managing the Owner's interests (not the construction team) on a single project, at the project site to achieve specified objectives. Involves engaging and leading the project delivery team providing CPM / Owner's Representative supporting the project completion and FA Class-A Acceptance. Reports directly to the AECOM Business Development Leader. Manages the project to achieve specified objectives. Involves overall planning, coordination, and control of a project support to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time, within budget and of the intended quality. Providing oversight and direction to enable projects to be completed on time and on budget Serving as a liaison for those managing design and construction and various City departments to ensure smooth project delivery Assisting in the sequencing and coordination of projects Utilizing various platforms and software to ensure efficient City review and approval pathways; reviewing plans and documents and providing feedback to various entities, and researching best practices to progress project delivery Contact with consultants, engineers, planners, architects, landscape architects, contractors, and representatives of civic, community and governmental organizations will be an aspect of the work. Act as a primary point of contact for AECOM with primary responsibility for delivering projects, which will include being knowledgeable with the work of architects, landscape architects, engineers, contractors, and other design and construction related consultants. Oversee and track project progress Attend regular design/construction project meetings and meet with consultants and staff to resolve design and construction problems Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and perform other ancillary administrative responsibilities related to assigned projects Conduct general administration and oversight of design and construction process Review designs for coordination and constructability Oversee and document construction activities Assist in review and recommendation of approval of invoicing, change orders, etc. The PM will provide client support for active and new projects working alongside other facility team members, internal business clients, external vendors, and contractors driving the execution of projects. The PM will assist with project, schedule, and cost management services including, but not limited to: Technical and administrative project management, budget controls, schedule control, coordination, change management, quality controls, submittal review and approval coordination, oversight of construction, manage project records and close-out documents. The PM will support overall project management, project strategy, vendor selection, procurement, and contracting, design management and pre-construction services, construction phase services, and project turnover and closeout activities. The PM must be comfortable using Microsoft Project, PDF document management, and have the ability to learn client dedicated systems. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Client Drug Screen is required Preferred Qualifications: 5 Years of Construction and Project Management Experience College degree in CM or related field Stakeholder management across large complex teams CM/PM experience Design Management Microsoft Project Experience Additional Information US Citizenship is required for this role and sponsorship will not be offered now or in the future.
