As a Business & Legal Affairs Intern, you'll collaborate directly with Marvel's in-house attorneys on cutting-edge entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property matters. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the legal backbone of Marvel's storytelling engine. Our legal team oversees all legal aspects of:
Feature films, animation, and television shows at every stage-from development, production to post production
Talent agreements for Marvel's cinematic and streaming content
This is a full-time internship, and the approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026. This internship reports directly to Lead Counsel.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Helping to prepare talent deals across feature films, streaming shows, and animated productions
Drafting above-the-line and below-the-line agreements for feature films, streaming series, and animated productions
Analyzing various intellectual property rights, matters and clearance issues involving Marvel assets
Required Qualifications & Skills
Prior internship experience at a film or entertainment company or law firm
Excellent analytical skills to manage and follow through on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent research skills and resourcefulness
Strong interpersonal skills and with ability to work independently
High discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of coursework in copyright, entertainment law, or intellectual property law
Education
Must be enrolled in an accredited law school taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program
Completion of one or more years of law school in a current JD program at the start of the internship

You must be pursuing a bachelor's degree during the semester you would like to intern. First priority is given to rising juniors and seniors. A $1,200 stipend will be paid at the end of a successful internship. Interns must be available to work a minimum of three weekdays, eight hours a day (daytime hours).
C-SPAN interns arrive from colleges and universities worldwide with majors ranging from political science and communications to marketing and American studies. Intern classes are small, between 1 to 4 students per department, providing an opportunity for a hands-on, real-life experience. Interns also have an opportunity to interact with interns from other departments at events and discussions.

What will I do?

2. Content: C-SPAN's programming department includes the following units, which choose, research, shoot and produce the programming for the networks:
American History TV: Every weekend offers American History TV, 24 hours of people and events that help document the American story. Featured are eyewitness accounts of the events that have shaped our nation, tours of museums and history sites and archival speeches from former presidents and other national leaders. We also take you to the classrooms of leading professors and to lectures and symposiums featuring prominent historians.
Book TV: Every weekend features Book TV, a 24-hour block of nonfiction book programming. Book TV brings you a rich variety of topics: history, biography, politics, current events, the media and more. There are author interviews, readings, panels and live coverage from the nation's largest book fairs.
Washington Journal: Daily morning call-in program featuring leading journalists, public policy makers and authors discussing the top public policy issues of the day, from key legislation on Capitol Hill to important developments around the world.
Field Production: Handles audio, lighting and camera operation for events that take place in Washington or on the road and executes set-up and breakdown of equipment.
Program Producers: Develop specific live and taped public affairs programs that air on C-SPAN, C-SPAN2 and C-SPAN3. These programs include Q&A, international programming, politics and special projects.
3. Content/TV Networks: This department is responsible for getting C-SPAN's product on the air. The editorial, technical, and information systems staff work closely together to ensure quality, balanced programming.
Editorial: Develops the daily schedule, tracks House and Senate floor debate, and coordinates elements for the final programming that airs on C-SPAN. Script writing, voice-overs, and writing and choosing Capital News headlines are just some of the responsibilities of this unit.
Technical: Works around the clock and is responsible for all the technical aspects of getting C-SPAN and C-SPAN2 on air 24 hours-a-day, including program direction, master control, camera operation, lighting and sound, editing, and on-air promotions.
4. Information Systems: Responsible for C-SPAN's information technology infrastructure, including local and wide area networks, servers and desktops and all commercial and custom applications.
5. Digital Technology: Develops and implements our strategies in the areas of online services, audio products and other developing technologies.
6. C-SPAN Radio: Broadcasts a mix of daily programs similar in style to those found on the
C-SPAN television networks, including congressional hearings, speeches, debates and forum discussions.
7. Engineering Responsible for the overall technical quality of C-SPAN's products; works with other departments to purchase and repair technical equipment; tracks new technologies and recommends ways C-SPAN can use these technologies to improve our product.

Our internship program is based out of our D.C. office, so you are expected to be on-site for the summer and follow The Washington Post's in-person work policy. We do not provide housing, but can suggest options upon request. You must be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at the time of submitting this application. Program Summary: Judson Center Behavioral Health Services offers traditional and crisis driven therapy interventions to children, adolescents, and adults who need support with managing their emotional, behavioral, and/or mental illnesses that are impacting their quality of life. Job Summary: The primary responsibility of a Behavioral Health Intern is to assist Behavioral health Staff with a variety of therapeutic treatment and Case Management services. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists clinical staff in providing individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults who have diagnosable mental, behavioral or emotional disorder that interferes with or limits quality of life including co-occurring substance use issues.

POSITION OVERVIEW
Two Community Engagement Interns work collaboratively within a small team to implement the Pillow's community programs through relationship building, critical thinking, and administrative activities.
Community Engagement Programs serve participants of all ages and experiences, from individuals encountering movement for the first time to the
advanced dancer. The Community Engagement Interns contribute to the administrative, financial, and logistical functions of programming, simultaneously building relationships as they interact with community partners, distinguished artists, and a range of participant groups - each with specific needs and interests.
The Community Engagement Internship aims to enhance learning in arts administration and related fields. Learning objectives for this position include:
Gain a working understanding of Tessitura (Customer Relationship Management Software) and how to best utilize database management to inform administrative and strategic processes.
Identify and execute basic principles and trends within event management and arts administration.
Develop a better understanding of one's interests and strengths, including how to best utilize them within the workplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties support the facilitation of off-site community-based and on-site Pillow-based programs. Responsibilities include:
Managing a series of daily Morning Classes, weekly Workshops with Festival Artists, weekly Family Classes, and periodic Community Workshops in Pittsfield.
Logistically supporting community dance classes, performances, and residencies through participant recruitment, targeted marketing efforts and design, research into current and prospective community partners, and in-person event support.
Maintaining participant registration, data collection, and reporting on programming attendance in the organizational database.
Cash-handling, reconciling income, and finance tracking.
Welcoming guests with a range of personal experiences to the Pillow for special visits and curated group tours.
Program documentation and evaluation.
Tabling at community events and farmers' markets.
Supporting maintenance and exhibit curation in the Warren Davis Welcome Center.
Opportunity to shadow full-time Pillow Staff throughout their workdays, observe interdepartmental, committee, and/or community partner meetings, and network with Berkshire County community organizers.
Contributing to the planning and coordination of an annual Community Day. This free, day-long event highlights local partners and brings nearly 400 guests to the Pillow campus.
As a member of the intern class, you will be required to participate in general festival-related duties that aim to broaden your scope and understanding of the various arts administration and production roles that exist within this field as time allows and requirements evolve. These will include but are not limited to giving campus tours, assisting with production changeovers in the theater, golf carting patrons, handing out tickets at will call and other ways to interact with guests, moving chairs, setting up for events, errands, and transporting artists. Training will be provided prior to participation in these activities, and while these duties will be a part of your overall experience, you will still spend the majority of your time within your primary assigned role.
5-8 hours a week will be dedicated to participating in weekly seminars, career building conversations, attending dance classes, lectures, and performances.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should demonstrate an interest in community arts and/or arts administration.
Proficiency in Google Suite, Word, Excel, and internet research is required.
This role engages with a wide variety of the public; cultural competency and advocacy towards belonging, inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility are valued.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A dance background is preferred.
