You are exposed to Network if you know how, when and where. Anniversary celebrations are fun. Perks and discounts at the Parks, Merchandise and Events. Legacy award takes you places.
Expect to work long hours so you don't really have the time to enjoy the perks for fun, management biases, inclusion is still a working progress and there is a lot of room for improvement. Lots of work expectations for the low pay rate.
Great 401k plan, and insurance. Free and unlimited park admission for self, and some other park admission opportunities for the family (limited). 10 Years or More anniversary party is amazing!
Lately CEO is all about money and the leadership teams are doing the best they can with what they have.
They have recently added Inclusion to their Keys, but they are far from delivering it. Inclusion is not just for demographics, they need to expand their knowledge in ADA including the non-visual disabilities such as Neurodivergence.
Be authentic and positive during your interview aside from getting to know the department you will be working with ahead of time and at least the basic knowledge of the company.
There is room for improvement with the compensation. I am a true believer the Disney company rules wages in Central Florida. If they bring their compensations up, the rest of the companies will follow. (at least within the Travel & Leisure companies).
The representation of diverse demographics is improving but it still a working progress.
The Walt Disney World company is a fast-paced company to be working with. You only get joy when you can enjoy the perks.
Comp tickets.
For me, the cut-throat environment & every man for himself mentality was difficult to navigate. For women, harrasment is commonplace. Every woman i know from work has a story to tell along those lines. In my dept. the managers sit in their air conditioned offices unbothered by us on the front lines in 100 ° heat, when we are short or getting slammed by crowds. They don't lift a finger to help. Ever. They don't even speak to us in passing. If you love this company & grew up w/the parks & movies & want to maintain that, do not work here!
Comp tickets/main gate.
There isn't much to like about corporate within the company. They're over paid & out of touch with us as employees (CM) and the guests.
Remove the CEO. Remove D'Amaro and rebuild from the ground up.
As a Disney fan from childhood, i spent my whole life waiting for that moment! I'd been preparing since I was 5!
Making a guest's day. Seeing a happy family enjoying their vacation. Doing my job well and with a smile despite crowds, heat and physical strain.
This company and it's inclusion.....the thing is, it's a great thing to make sure everyone belongs. The problem with this place is it's all spin!!! Women get no respect in lower roles a d frequently deal with harassment. *That's not inclusive *.
We are vastly underpaid by national standards. By Florida standards, TWDC pays above minimum wage.
Every cast member I worked with wanted to be the worlds best and that reflected in the awesome team I worked with. Half of the management team were engaging and cared about making it low stress with enough cast member to execute a massive job completed excellently
Some uniforms were not comfy and it was hot and humid something better could be made for those outside in the heat working hard. The pay and the benifits. To low the hourly pay and it’s a union controlling your pay. Not every cast member or leader works the same and some do deserve so much more than others. The union helps the company not the employees, some benifits were nice but not when I worked there. No overtime was allowed to much
We did get passes to share and the back room to buy food and Disney merchandise and auctions on Disney bigger items was a giant plus on working with Disney. You could take your family to the grocery part and part of the discounted store when I worked there in 2013. I would hope to go back one day to work my senior years part time.
i'm working to Walter Disney for creating the conflict on the story for live action and animation

i feel happy to be part the member of team to organization to represent to the company
i bring everyone joy of the best theme for Disneyland
You get to learn lots of stuff in a short period of time, with the best.
Work environment can be challenging at times, due to co workers, rude guests and ungrateful leaders (bosses) and coordinators (supervisors).
Free park entry, discounts on merchandise, and the ability to shop at an exclusive employee store (Cast Connections).
The amount of opportunities the company offers.
Hiring employees who are efficient but kind.
I talked about my previous job experiences and skills.
It's not the best, but it's better than most full time/ part time jobs related to retail.
The representation is diverse, you get to see a ton of cultures, people, and languages.
Making magic for guests.
Good pay, nice bonus structure, lots of interesting stuff to work on
Health insurance benefits are not good, the company is bloated, inept engineering leadership
Free park admission and resort discounts
Better than most, but not quite on par with FAANG. If you earn your bonuses and promotions you can do very well.
Building streaming apps used by millions of users around the world. Solving challenging problems.

Park admission; local discounts; prestige
Expected to work many extra hrs w/out pay
Admission
Accept cast input more readily like Co one did. Money machine rules now
Researching co
Disney is lower. Hospitality Co forgets BTS workers match real world jobs and should be compensated equally. Discounts do not pay the rent.
Good

The stability of working in a company with a rich history and dependable product. You never had to worry about it going belly up!
Lack of trust amongst employees and especially from management. You could never be certain that the smiles they flashed were 100% genuine.
Because it was such a big and well-known company, doors were quickly opened to me that wouldn’t have been if I had worked anywhere else.
Fun and fulfilling. I am able to bring the child out of me while maintaining industry standards of providing the best service and being my best self at work. Amazing colleagues who look out for each other.
nothing that i can recall
Excellent service standard, fun staffs.
What I liked about working at the Walt Disney Company is that I got to perform for the guests and create magic with them
What I did not like about working at the Walt Disney Company is the pay rate and hours
My favorite perk / benefit from the Walt Disney Company would have to be the free entry whenever I choose
Learning something new everyday
People without professionalism
I like the benefits they offer
It’s fun and always positive energy

What I did was very interesting. Management was very open.
Prone to jump on board with every politically correct trend that came up.
Company carried a lot of clout.
perks were terrific !!
entire company mentality -- very 24/7 "What did you do for me today ? " attitude .
Silver pass to the parks
Knowing that you're creating a magical experience for guests to enjoy.
You had limited control of your schedule and it didn't allow for much of a work/life balance. Depending on your venue/area they tended to treat you like children.
The employee discounts were nice but the health insurance benefits were good.
Pay/friendly environment
nothing, I love my job
Health insurance/theme park access
The experience of making magic
long hours
getting into the parks for free and merchandise discount
I liked the coworkers that I had and the environment that my job was located in.
Free park access
Professional work environment, where teamwork and development are a pillar of success. There are many highly talented individuals that I have had the privilege of working with.
The type of work that I currently do is incredibly demanding. It is one of my personal pursuit to balance work and life. The company culture is not conducive to my long term goals.
Park tickets are great, and the benefits are outstanding.
Transfer opportunities, workload, social networking
Lack of upward mobility

I'd like to move to an art department.
