Further, the company provides whole home, appliances, individual components, home deductible reimbursement, and more for home warranty; mechanical repair coverage for credit unions; credit card and membership benefit solutions; and custom programs and training services. It serves large and small manufacturers, distributors, and retailers of consumer goods; and financial institutions. The Warranty Group, Inc. was formerly known as Aon Warranty Group, Inc. and changed its name to The Warranty Group, Inc. in December 2006. The company was founded in 1964 and is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois with additional offices in the United States and internationally. As of August 1, 2014, The Warranty Group, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of TPG Partners VI-AIV, L.P.
