Responsibilities:
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.

Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Education Required

Our research is directly shared with our clients via consulting sessions, workshops, and events. We utilize several reputable resources both online and with community partners to conduct our research goals. Workshop topics on a broad spectrum are always abundant and another one of the ways we continue to service the business community across Hawaii.
The Small Business Senior Advisor is primarily responsible for providing direct, expert consultation and training services to small businesses in West Hawaii while meeting specific SBDC Network goals and acting as an advocate for the small business community.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This is the first level in the Evaluator series and requires a demonstrated understanding of academic program requirements and of transcript evaluation processes. * Evaluate and process academic data and transcripts into the degree audit system for counselors and students to develop individual Student Educational Plans.
* Process individual student transfer equivalencies and course to course into the degree audit system; process degrees, certificates and general education certifications into the degree audit system.

(40%) Instruct classes in the Athletic Department, specifically PE 196 Varsity Athletics classes and/or PE 180 Varsity Conditioning classes. Prep work for the class could include film evaluation, practice planning, conditioning/workout planning, game day coaching, and travel with the team to away games. PE 196 and PE 180 classes are regularly scheduled and have a grade option of A-F, or Pass/No-Pass. AAI's are responsible for assigning grades at the end of the term based on standards spelled out in an established syllabus for these courses.
(20%) Assist in developing effective recruitment strategies, managing an assigned recruiting territory, following up on prospective student-athletes, and researching and targeting high schools to visit. Other duties may be performed within the title of administrative work, such as game management, facility management, fundraising, resident hall supervision and Athletic department coordination with the resident halls.

This position will be responsible for posing, nude or clothed, for Art and drawing classes. The primary purpose of the Art Model is to provide art students with the opportunity to practice, learn, and improve their perceptive skills and quality of artistic expression inspired by the human body.

Job Summary:
The Deputy General Counsel will supervise, manage, and lead a team of attorneys and support staff, including an Assistant Deputy General Counsel, two Senior Assistant General Counsels, six Assistant General Counsels, a paralegal, and two legal secretaries. The Deputy General Counsel will report to the Managing Deputy General Counsel and the General Counsel. This is an exempt full‑time position that will be paid for time worked on a salary basis.
The Deputy General Counsel will be held accountable for the following responsibilities:
Overseeing employee discipline and labor litigation, including principal and tenured teacher dismissal hearings, principal discipline conferences, school support staff dismissal hearings, grievance arbitrations, and unfair labor practice trials, including first‑ or second‑chairing hearings, arbitrations, and trials when appropriate;
Supervising, managing, and leading attorneys, paraprofessionals, and support staff assigned to the Labor & Discipline Unit, including reviewing and editing written briefs, pleadings, and correspondence and advising on successful litigation strategy and case management techniques;
Counseling chiefs, departments, and schools with respect to legal compliance requirements, significant labor and employee discipline matters, employment issues, settlements, and risk mitigation;
Chairing the district's Discipline Committee, including analyzing investigations and leading the discussion with a team of executive‑level employees to make disciplinary recommendations to district's top executives;
Oversee day‑to‑day operations, be a point of escalation from other offices across the district, and continuously work to develop and maintain morale within the Unit;
Proactively manage risk and work to improve district efforts within labor and employee discipline;
Assisting with the development and promulgation of Board policies;
Manage outside counsel responsible for directly representing CPS in labor and employee discipline matters;
Collaborate with Office of the Inspector General, Office of Student Protections, and the Law Department Investigations Unit with respect to matters under investigation by those offices;
Presenting labor and employee discipline topics to school administrators and leaders at district's annual legal conference and conducting training on same as needed to chiefs, school administrators, and Central Office teams;
Other duties as assigned.
In order to be successful and achieve the above responsibilities, the Deputy General Counsel must possess the following qualifications:
Education Required:
Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Illinois
Experience Required:
Minimum of eight (8) years of legal practice responsible for litigation management, labor proceedings, and/or administrative law and proceedings, required
Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in a position involving the supervision/management and development of direct reporting attorneys and support staff of differing abilities, strongly preferred
Experience as a trial attorney with significant first chair experience, preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience managing and developing attorneys and support staff including team and morale building
Strong leadership skills, including in relationship building, employee motivation, conflict management, decision‑making, and delegation

This part-time teaching position requires the ability to instruct classes in English as a Second Language at all levels, from literacy through advanced, in credit (college level) and noncredit (adult education). Instruction will include communicative methods to develop students' skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Teaching assignments can be scheduled as day, evening or weekend courses at the Ocean Campus, 50 Frida Kahlo Way; the Mission Campus, 1125 Valencia Street; the Downtown Campus, 88 4th Street; or the Chinatown Campus, 808 Kearny Street in San Francisco or other locations as needed. Teaching online sections may be available for interested instructors with prior community college certified training or upon the completion of required training for online teaching at City College of San Francisco. Availability to teach in-person in San Francisco is required.
The ESL Department offers over 150 credit and noncredit course sections each semester in in-person, online, and hybrid formats. Our more than 100 faculty members teach English language skills for daily life, academic purposes, vocational training and citizenship preparation. Job Duties
* Teach credit and/or noncredit ESL courses at all levels, including open entry/open-exit courses.
* Teach all components of ESL, including reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, conversation, and pronunciation at designated levels of instruction.
* Teach morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend classes at one or more sites or online. Availability to teach in-person is required.
* Conduct classes composed of a diversity of adult students, including students of all ages, abilities, genders, and sexual orientations and from diverse cultural, religious, ethnic, racial, socioeconomic, educational, and linguistic backgrounds.
* Use computers and other technology to perform state-mandated duties associated with instructing and assessing student progress including but not limited to attendance, census, grading, and Student Learning Outcomes.
* Communicate with ESL department faculty on department related issues such as pedagogy and student assessments and related reports.
* Support and engage in culturally responsive, inclusive and anti-racist practices to promote student success and address student equity gaps.
* Participate in professional development on topics including diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism.
* Assign students various learning activities in accordance with the current course outlines, and generate relevant instructional materials to promote student achievement and evaluate student progress.

A.T. Still University's Central Coast Physician Assistant Program (ATSU-CCPA) is seeking applications for part-time faculty on the Santa Maria, California campus. The part-time faculty will report directly to the CCPA Program Chair and indirectly to the Director of Didactic Education and will support student learning on campus within the innovative case-based small-group learning model.
A.T. Still University (ATSU) is a culturally rich environment leading the way in whole-person health education with cutting-edge technology and instruction. From its inception in 1892, ATSU has had a long tradition of inclusion. The ATSU College for Healthy Communities is the newest College within ATSU located in the beautiful Central Coast region of California. The Central Coast Physician Assistant (CCPA) Program is the founding academic program within the College with the mission of educating culturally humble, diverse physician assistants (PAs) to serve the primary care needs of medically underserved communities.
The responsibilities of the part-time faculty will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following.
Support the delivery of in-person didactic courses 1-2 days per week, depending upon the contract, through the facilitation of student learning in small groups within our learning theater on the Santa Maria campus.
Collaborate as a member of the didactic faculty to achieve a shared vision for becoming recognized as the principal source of PAs from historically underrepresented groups providing culturally humble care to medically underserved communities.
Support the implementation of an innovative curricular model emphasizing blended learning.
Serve as a member of the dynamic team of didactic faculty to educate a highly diverse student body selected for their commitment to the CCPA mission using a holistic admissions process.
Contribute to the implementation of a comprehensive assessment strategy for the pre-clinical phase of the program.
Help to ensure students are adequately prepared to achieve programmatic assessment benchmarks (such as PACKRAT I, PACKRAT II, and PANCE).
Promote ongoing compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards and best practices in contemporary physician assistant didactic education.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and accomplishments:
Prior academic experience in medical education is preferred.
Substantial previous clinical experience is preferred.
Experience and/or concurrent employment within Community Health Centers and/or one of the CCPA local partner clinical sites, where the clinical education of our students is occurring, is preferred.
Applicants who can articulate how they can collaboratively contribute to the program's mission and vision will be given preference.

Effective communication and collaboration skills are required.
