Some of the original management still hold out hope that the future will get better on the property
Bad GM who is always saying one thing and saying another thing as soon as you turn around. An HR manager that is not a symbol of confidence or strength. The HR manager works more as a assistant GM as opposed to working in HR and does not allow anybody to have that sense of comfort or confidence when you have to approach an HR issue. The two of them together have made the culture on the property worse than it's ever been.
The ice skating rink
I would improve white face lodge by eliminating the current GM and HR manager. Allowing for a more diverse management hierarchy and allow the staff to have more say and what happens on the property. Most of the staff has been there for years and they know the original resort and how it's meant to feel and be operated
